| Good find minus-one. currently you can only import anime back. you cannot import manga yet. |
| Eh? You tried importing to AniDB from a MAL export? We don't support AniDB import features, so I'm not sure how to help you with that. |
| I know, this is quite an old topic, but what is actually exported out on manga and animelists? Are comments exported too? I usually add in comments with the anime / manga I'm currently into, so it would be great to know if these are exported too. Just in case. ^^ Thanks. :) |

I tried exporting and then importing my manga list on another profile to test it out and the comments and tags were not transfered. I don't mind the tags but it would be great if the comments could be included in the xml file (I checked, they don't appear in it either), since I use them all the time. My bad, I thought they were not because I tried to import to recover a particular tag but these didn't appear in the XML, now I realise that export was too old and didn't include my tags. Awesome then. |

Also another user mentioning that they were not implemented after doing the same thing. But in my case it was because the one I experimented with was an old export, when tags in fact were not included in my list. I re-exported and tags are included now. |
