| Is anyone else watching this? I've given it an 8 so far. I don't know how much more "creepy" this is going to get, but it's not extremely scary right now ('cuz if it was, I wouldn't be watching it.) The characters are great (I love the way Mai calls Kazuya "naru-chan". For those that don't watch, she calls him "Mr Narcissistic" or "naru-chan") Once you get into the 3rd episode, it gets a little more creepy, but still not overly scary for my taste. |
| Hmmmm... I guess no one but Seishin and I are watching this? You guys really don't know what you're missing. It just gets better and better. The doll arc was kinda creepy, but for the most part, it's a lil' suspense, a lil' mystery, a lil' comedy, and an overall great series. Watching how all these people with their own way of dealing with spirits interact, is great. You have Naru-- the scientific spirit researcher, and Lin, his brooding assistant. Then there's Masako, the world famous psychic who can actually "feel" the presence of these spirits. John Brown, a young australian priest (he's only 19), Ayako, a self-proclaimed "miko" who is just as afraid of the spirits as an average person (she's good for a lot of laughs), and my personal favorite... Hosho Takigawa, a former monk turned exorcist, who, while not working as an exorcist, earns money playing guitar in a rock band... lmao! If you haven't seen it... I recommend it highly. This is very entertaining. |

| Wow. There's actually a thread for this... I'm watching this, and enjoying it greatly. I think that the characters are very good. Each one of them adds something special to the show. I'm actually loving Ghost Hunt, mainly the relationship between Mai, Naru and Masako. I think that's a good enough reason for watching this (not my one though). |

(11)... where Hosho did that perfect impression of Ayako... lol... and she walks up, unaware, and says the exact same thing in the exact same way that Hosho imitated her... priceless. All 3 of us were dying, laughing. So far, the only arc that I would even closely call "scary" was the dollhouse arc. Yeah... I made the mistake of watching that at night... lol... had to play a couple rounds of Pangya before I went to bed... lol. OK, OK... /rant over (watch this, people!!!) |
| I've only watched 5 episodes so far, which lands me close to the conclusion of the haunted doll/house story. I'm not known for being an especially brave person in the first place, but I didn't expect to be freaked out by it...and I totally am. O.o *turns on all the lights* |

| I downloaded the episodes a while ago but doesn't get to watch it untll now. I'm on the 6th episode and I can safely said that "I'm hooked!" I love this type of anime that deals with mystery and the supernatural. I can't wait to watch more! P.S. "Mr. Narcissistic" is a hottie! |
| Have we convinced anyone else to watch this, yet? I'm really trying to get people to watch!! What a great series. After the first 3 episodes, I had it rated a 7... then after 7 or 8 I had it rated a 9. Now... after 17 or 18 episodes, I'm seriously considering moving this one up to a 10. |
| I been trying to convince my friends to watch this anime, but not any luck so far. Yes, I also did move up my rating from 7 to 8 to 9. I'm waiting until the 26 episodes to see if I should move up my rating to 10. =D |

| I definitely agree with you Furuba, I think I have possibily found my best of the season and that's Ghost Hunt. I'm so glad you started this thread because it got me into watching it. |

| ^At least for me it is. When I began to watch Ghost Hunt I didn't expect it to be great, average at best but the anime really pulled me in as I watch more and more episodes. I still need to see the last 8 episodes before I can say that Ghost Hunt is the best of the season. |

She is a HUGE Hatori Sohma fangirl... and Lin-san reminds her a lot of him. She's already a big time Lin fangirl. (Waits for Seishin to come in and clobber her for posting this in an open forum.) Also, I have recruited OD Funk into the Ghost Hunt fandom. Even though he doesn't post on these forums (damn him), he posts a lot on that **other site** and tells me he's enjoying it. | I am also a Hatori fan, but I don't feel a lot of love for Lin-san right now because his character still seems flat to me and too stoic. *run away from Lin-san fan girls* My absolutely favorite character so far is Yasuhara. I want to take him home with me. ~_* And yeah, we need to convert more MAL users to become Ghost Hunt fans. |

| omg...i watched this anime by recommendation of a friend and fell in love with it instantly. It's sooooo awesome. Bou-san is my fav character. This anime is definetly one of the best i've seen. That doll is really creepy tho o.o |

| I enjoyed the series thoroughly. Compared to some series where protagonists are unbalanced towards their favor than antagonists in the plot, you only seldom/rarely see it in Ghost Hunt. They go quite in depth while sticking to close to a factual point of view. The mood is decent all-round, though at times I think Mai and the medium become drama queens a bit too much hehe. Makes me want to do ghost hunting myself. |

| Love this anime...i didnt really think much of this at first but after watching it once i couldn't stop watching it at all I hate evil dolls so the only arc i got really scared is the doll arc when it was alive and crap...nothing else really scared me =/ |

| When I saw the first episode I thought it look kinda boring, but then I saw ep. 2 and think it got quite interesting. Now I have seen ep. 3, and it's kinda creepy and scary. I can't wait to see the next episode. It's a brilliant anime! But I wait until tomorrow with the next ep. . . There has to be more light outside o..<! |

| Just started this anime a few hours ago and am already halfway into it. xD I'd heard a lot about it, and I'm a big fan of creepy/supernatural shows, so I decided to give it a try. The first episode I was kind of 'meh'. It wasn't bad, but I was doubting it's ability to keep me hooked. But once they got a bit more into that story I became more interested, and after the doll house one I was hooked. =D I really love the creepy elements to it. While sometimes they aren't necessarily 'scary', they do have that spine-shiver effect. The doll head rolling into the camera spooked me, and the ghostly hands from the cursed arc were quite eerie. The opening and ending are really unique. It's odd for an opening not to have any characters or anything in it, it's just some lights and instrumental music. But it suits the anime so well. I really like the ending music too. Though I want to take my time because I'm enjoying it so much, I have a feeling I'll be finished this anime today. xD Is the manga good? Once this is over I'll have to check it out for want of more, haha. And I hope they make a second season. *crosses fingers* |
| I'm a big fan of this anime : ) And I made a few gifs and posted them in the forum under creative corner. So theyre ok if you want to see them. But anyway I seriously love this show. I think it's right up there with black cat and zombie loan in my favorites. It's got a great mix of mystery and fun (loved yasuhara even though he didnt get much screen time)and its next on my list to be downloaded since i loved it so much. If they make a second season, I will be insanely fangirlishly happy. : D edit/ Here is a link to them. |

Usually it's an 'R' sound that is pronounced, but sometimes they could be meaning it to be an 'L'. |
