| Just keep going with watching it. Don't expect it will get better (but it will though) because expectations will always ruin your enjoyment. By the time you reach the Neo Armstrong Cyclone Jet Armstrong Cannon episode, Gintama would've distinguished itself as the supreme king of comedy anime and would've won your heart. There are strings of episodes (arcs) that do get serious and actually progress the plot like what's going on right now. However, you should not skip between seasons, you've gotta watch it in order. Trust me, Gintama doesn't dominate spots on the top 10 for no reason(despite the comparatively smaller amount of select fans watching who rate it highly). |
