THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE.
----------------------------------------
Discussion about some male players setting themselves as female... + scenes discussions with the guests.

There's also Yui explaining about some trivia.

lol~ there's also talk about Kirito so popular with girls with "jinsei soudan corner" (discussions about people's worry).

It's only on the DVDs/BDs. It shows chibi versions of the characters discussing about stuff that tsubasalover mentioned.

So it's a talk show about Aincrad and interview with characters then. First guest is Klein.
Poor guy, can't take a break even in here. Playback corner played bad clips about him. The other corner with Kirito listening to the worries didn't help(Kirito was almost in trouble). Plus with Asuna and Kirito flirting right in front of him. Being Klein is suffering.
Liked the trivia stuff from Yui.
Can't wait for the others to be featured too.

Quite a low cost production. A bit disappointed here, particularly considering the huge profit they are expecting to reap from the sales of BDs...
So MAL finally starts locking news threads that are only a few weeks old?

I wonder where was the announcement of this change? Or we are seeing yet another case of changes made that impacted users but not communicated to them?

I wonder how long people would put up with this.

As much as I have a bunch of information to share about anime announced recently I cannot share it in news board, and the anime series is too disorganized and chaotic to share information except with people already interested in the particular series.

Lol, this "talk show" was quite funny. Glad they showed Yui doing the Trivia :) Animation/artwork wasn't that great... but it's just an extra on the BD anyway...

Subs are out.

Anyway, this was pretty poor. I feel bad for everyone who watches this special with only having watched the content of it's volume. Spoilers everywhere, disappointed in whoever was in charge of this special.

I'd totally want life counseling from Klein btw.

Finally subs are out, now I get why Klein was so pissed xDDDD Kirito is truly a born lady-killer and doesn't even realize it xD it makes me feel bad for Silica and Liz, they deserve a chance as well!!

@LordStraw: truly spoilers everywhere, if people were waiting for the BDs to watch this series they are pretty much fuked up. Asuna's character was nowhere near like this until the end of Inner Area Incident, and I'm not even going to start about Asuna and Kirito's relationship. I guess this was oriented to people who are watching the series on TV, BD-only audience will probably skip the next installments of this unless they want to get spoiled HARD.

Kirito was intentionally friendzoning every single girl he met, including asuna, there is no way he could not be aware of that.

Hoh. So in order to beat a boss... you at least need to be 10 level higher + the rank of the floor to be safe... Those are some nice trivia to know.

LOL this was nicely made.

So it's a mix of the SAO 4-koma's comedy and putting all the world-building info not given in the rushed SAO adaptation in a news format.

The first special was fun and interesting.

Interesting that the levels to clear a floor should be 10 or more above the floor number. Which suggests that when the game ended they were at least level 85, with at least a possible maximum level of 110?

100 is definetely not max level. In the end of SAO Kirito and Asuna had levels 90+.

Did they actually say that? My memory is awful xD.

Well I don't know what the max level is or if there even is one. Just that for lv 100 to be clear-able with the above logic, it must be at least 110.

The best for me of this special was the following one,

That is due to Asuna getting angry at Kirito because she did not know of Lizbet’s whole situation and not even of Keiko herself. So big problems happen there. It was a hilarious little setup and it seems to show Asuna is either jealous of not being part of that girls or that she is cheated.

not quite so.
you need N+10 level just to enter the room, it is only the lowest limit. it doesn't mean you are safe, however, it supposed to mean that you have at least some chances to survive the battle with this level.
despite this rule, it was mentioned that they lost plenty of people clearing the level bosses. it is definitely not safe.

Floors are clearable even if you are not 10+ levels above them. Having such high levels is just recommended to minimize chances of dying, if this was a normal MMO where you could just try a bossfight a few times until everyone does everything right, a lower level would be fine too. By overleveling the encounter the players get a buffer for a few small mistakes.

The levels are probably not capped at 100 since Heathcliff mentions in the murder mystery arc in the LN that the player that oneshot Yolko would have to be at least level 100 to have the stats for such a thing.

You don't need a specific level to enter a boss room. It's obviously not 100% safe if you fuck up hard or if the boss is especially hard (25, 50, 75, 100), but being able to clear every boss in the first try with minimal losses means they were pretty safe. They had scouting parties, were overleveled and every player could immediately teleport away if he was in danger, they were as safe as they could be.

In DeadFish subs, Yui said, that everyone in the boss room was 11+ level. IMO, this means precisely system limits on entering the boss room.
in lineage 2, for example, pretty much every instance has limited level access.
