According to Dengeki Online, the second season of Ro-Kyu-Bu! was announced at Dengeki 20th Anniversary festival. The title is "Ro-Kyu-Bu! SS". ("SS" doubly stands for "second season" and "Shogakusei wa Saiko daze! Elementary school girls are great!"). Sources: Dengeki, HMV Anime Ro-Kyu-Bu! This got a second season which means there's absolutely no reason for Astarotte no Omocha not to get one as well. Come on, Japan. |

It didn't sell, unlike Ro-Kyu-Bu which sold well over 6k BD/DVDs, had a ton of merchandise sales (hugs Hinata Daki), and most of all knew what demographic it was catering to. |
