| Grace smiled. "I'm sure we can find one," she said as she buzzed for a nurse. She told them that she had no insurance and would pay cash for everyone including Aki. The nurse looked to Masaru. |

| "Yeah, we can do that. Grace made enough food to last for a century thanks to her nervousness." Masaru teased, he then looked worried. "What you were crying about?" |

| "I-I...I had a miscarriage during surgery. I lost too much blood," Grace said quietly. "I-I'm so sorry, Masaru." |

| Masaru looked down slightly, he then held her hand. "Shouldn't I be apologizing to you. I expected them to send people, but I left anyway. I should have sent a decoy to lure them to the Chateau while I was still there." |

| "I-It wasn't your fault," Grace said quietly. "If I'd gone to a hospital sooner I could've saved the baby." |

| "I think it's my fault... You think it's your fault. Let's compromise, and say it's the Kira's fault." Masaru said rubbing her cheek. "I will protect you next time, I promise." |

| Grace smiled. "I don't know, Zero," she said as she held Masaru's hand and kissed it. "Maybe...we could try for another one day?" |

| Masaru chuckled slightly. "We'll see." He said smiling lightly. "Sorry, Zero." |

| Aki continued to sit in her hospital room thinkinng of how Trent had snuck his death note into her pocket. She was glad that her coat pockets were big enough to hide the death note in. Now she just has to make sure that nobody finds the death note. |

| Aki looks down and sees Todd. "Well, aren't you just the cutest little fox." She smiles. Outside of the hospitle about a few blocks away in an alleyway, Ryo phased underground and used that meathod to sneak inside. Once inside he went to the front desk and looked up Aki's room number before the nurses could see pages moving by themselves. Ryo then goes back underground and finds Aki's room. Then he lays low in the bathroom because he noticed that Zero's fox was in there. |

| Aki had a feeling that Trent would be sending Ryo her way to meet with her, but with Todd in the room she knew that Ryo would not take the chance of coming out of hiding. |

| Ryo waited to make sure Zero wasn't going to come to Aki's room. Aki just smiled and leaned back on the bed rubbing her smooth stomach. Soon it would get bigger, but she knew it would be getting bigger for a good reason. |

| Grace was quietly looking at Masaru's monitors. "I really am sorry," she said softly. |

| ""Grace? I thought I was mommy." |

| When Ryo thought it was a good time to walk out of the bathroom he did. He looks at Aki and holds his finger up to his mouth showing her the she doesn't need to speak. "Alright, I've spoke with him and he wanted me to tell you that he changed the room number and the floor number." Ryo then told Aki the new room and floor number. "He's there right now watching Yuki. It's actually amazing she wasn't biting him or scratching him. She really misses you; you would have loved to seen this one moment, Aki. Trent let Yuki lay on his lap and he petted her it was rather cute. Anyway, I better get going right now I'm staying with Trent. I'll be the messaenger boy for you two. Later, Aki; I'll tell him that you love and miss both him and Yuki." Aki nods to show that she understood everything. She mouths 'Thank you' to Ryo. Ryo nods and then leaves back through the bathroom and leaves the sameway he got in. Aki smiles as she imagens Trent petting Yuki with her curled up on his lap. |

| Grace smiled and kissed his forehead. "I'm proud of you for being so brave." |

| Grace stroked his back as she thought about what had gone on in the last few weeks. |

| Aki looks at the door when she heard Zero's voice. "Oh, hi Zero." |

| Grace smiled and scratched under his chin. |

| Masaru yawned and rolled over on his side to sleep. |

| Grace watched his monitor. She wanted him to be okay while he slept. She owed him so much, and she owed him a life. |

| Rin Chi phased into Graces room, shortly behind her. He leans forward looking at the monitor. "Stalking him are you? Never took you for someone like that." He said chuckling. |

| Grace looked back slightly and stopped scratching Todd. "I'm just concerned. I have a right to be doing this." |

| Rin laughed slightly. "You do realize that if the cops didn't show up, Takeshi would have crushed that guy's neck, right?" He said smirking. "Humans are so strange, being concerned when there's no need." |

| "I just want to watch out for him," Grace said as she ran her fingers over Todd's belly. |

| Aki looks at Zero. "Zero, do you hate me? Like you hate Trent?" |

| "You mean like you did at the Warehouse?" Rin asked chuckling. "Yeah, that turned out really well." He said rolling his eyes. |

| Grace rolled her eye. "You're such a child." |

| "I'm a little surprised. You saw how much Takeshi can resemble a Shinigami. Yet you show no fear." |

| "Your point? It's a part of his job," Grace muttered. |

| "You really don't know anything about him, do you? He already told you how his family died. But, what do you think happened after his brother killed them? Do you think he just let Takeshi live? Or perhaps you think the cops showed up." Rin said laughing. |

| "Does it look like I care?" Grace frowned. "Go away before you wake him." |

| "Just don't end up killing my main source of amusement, you brat." Rin said scowling before he phased through the ceiling. |

| Aki was a little surprised by his answer. "You don't hate me? You do know that I love Trent. Right?" |
