Repost my earlier post again: Seems many people ask why there is a 2nd season. The reason why there have been talks in Japan about a 2nd season is because - Sales of the first season has average of >4500 Good enough to consider a 2nd season - The character song CDs all sold very well - The Symphogear live event was successful - Fans love the concept of Girls fighting in tokusatsu kind of setting. - They also think the seiyuu did a very good job acting and singing. |
| So MAL finally starts locking news threads that are only a few weeks old? I wonder where was the announcement of this change? Or we are seeing yet another case of changes made that impacted users but not communicated to them? I wonder how long people would put up with this. As much as I have a bunch of information to share about anime announced recently I cannot share it in news board, and the anime series is too disorganized and chaotic to share information except with people already interested in the particular series. |

| Wow really wasn't expecting this. I love the songs used in the first season. Especially all of Chris songs and definitely First Love Song. It wasn't anything special but still enjoyable so will look forward to this. Plus i get to hear more Ayahi Takagaki using Chris's voice to sing, she normally uses a different tone singing her other songs. |

| I never really understood why people consider it as 'awful'. It wasn't that good, but it DID show lots of potential that eventually got wasted due to obvious budget problems. A second season was rather necessary, considering how much backstory was actually created but couldn't make it into the series. When I read that the series did indeed sell (and this came out as a surprise, not gonna lie), a second season was almost a given. No need to say, I'm looking forward to it. |

| I dropped Symphogear season one after 4 or 5 episodes, but I'm glad it's getting a season 2. It's so apparent the show was just made to sell Nana Mizuki and Aoi Yuuki albums and toys, but I liked the music that was in the few episodes I watched. I also really liked the character design of Aoi's character. It was sort of a fun little show that didn't keep my interest but now I might have to pick it back up. I was hoping after Symphogear that they would have had Aoi Yuuki do some singing in her role as Cou in Dog Days Dash but that didn't happen. It had Nana Mizuki in it as well! They could have had a 3-way Aoi Yuuki, Nana Mizuki, and Yui Horie concert but they didn't! Such wasted potential. I think the Hibiki figma is one of the neatest ones they've released so far. |

 They tried Madoka's way of killing off characters, but it was done so poorly that I was actually laughing when characters died. The singing and fighting aspect was a giant joke so I couldn't take ANY of it seriously. Enemies looked so generic I took it as a big joke. Not good when there's a supposedly serious scene and it's done so badly that instead of feeling empathy, compassion and emotionally tied to the fate of the characters, I just laugh at how corny and poorly executed the scene is. |

| YES!! Honestly, I think the anime is extremely underrated and while I do see some bad points from the first season, the good points overruled everything :) LOVE MIZUKI NANA :DDD Can't wait to hear the soundtrack :) |

| This really shouldn't happen. But god dammit, the first season was like the Birdemic of anime, so horrible that it comes right back around to being horribly wonderful. Hopefully they keep up the QUALITY animation and DRAMATIC storytelling and TERRIFIC voice acting. |

| I'm pretty excited for this, it's a good opportunity for them to take the concepts of Season 1 and actually make a better show of it. That or it'll remain hilariously bad in a lovable fashion and I'll enjoy it regardless. :) The last two episodes of the first season were so ridiculous that they were amazing. I love Symphogear so this will be fun~. |
| Tsubasa better be fucking in it and some loveconfessions need to be.. well, confessed. I still can't get over the fact that they just fucking killed kanade in the first episode, there was a lot potential for the relation-/friendship between her and Tsubasa. But I'm going to watch it no matter what. |
