I completely agree, I thought I was watching the wrong episode because it was so random.

Another one

The Transition was totally random. I thought we would at least see him selling the Mercedes, AND going to Okinawa, WTF??

This Episode is PATHETIC!! Just like the previous episode! They didn't connect the story from previous episode at all!! Miyabi's valiant character & episode died without even causing a freck of trouble in the end! They ruined my interest/appreciation of the story!!

The most boring episode yet. Like everyone said, it was too random, and in the end both Toroko's problem and the gold turned out to be fake. Wth.
And the next is apparently about Kunio and his mother complex. That, along with Toroko being an idol, are the least interesting themes IMO. I'd love to see an arc about literally anyone else. I at least hope it won't be more than one episode.

I agree with everything you just said. Even though I like Kunio and all that his mother complex has been done already so there's no point in making an entire episode about it.

Did they seriously just take a dump on the story buildup from the last set of episodes? Inserting filler at crucial times like this is kind of low. Next episode looks like it'll be about nothing as well. Disappointing.

Was random but at least it wasn't horrible, though I do agree they really should've continued the plot from the previous episode.

I liked this episode, like every Tomoko episode. Onizuka + Tomoko is just a cute combination.

Yes it was random, yes it was a filler, but it was still pretty funny and enjoyable.

? The last episode finished that arc, at least that's how I saw it. Everything was solved, Onizuka got the car back and can pay the trip and stay a teacher. The only thing left from that arc is how it's going to change Miyabi's attitude, but I'm sure they're coming back to that. Possibly save it for the finale.

I liked this episode. A lot of people are commenting that the last story arc wasn't wrapped up well enough. I thought it was wrapped up just fine though. He got the Mercedes back and had 2 days to come up with the money. It's pretty obvious that he sold it and got the cash on time. They don't really need to base an entire episode around that do they?

Loved the last arc so I was a bit bummed we didn't see what was next with Miyabe, who is an amazing character and I'm really interested to see if she still hates GTO. So yeah this episode felt a little out of place, but despite that it was pretty damn funny.

I wonder if the anime caught up with the manga during this point as the preview focuses on Kunio. Nonetheless, the previous arc felt wrapped up to me. Everything else can be inferred like Onizuka keeping his job and everything.

It was a fun episode from being just a prank to being a sting operation, lol. Wonder if Onizuka completed his job in converting the whole 3-4 class by now, who knows.

That policeman have a pretty "Super" voice :P

"Wa hai de pa tsu kin"
Why did they reverse it? I guess it's kinda like "Men go men go"

What a cruel guy, he shouldn't even be a policeman
But then again so did Onizuka xD
Sometimes he's good, sometimes he's not.. I guess he's pretty humane

That was too much for Dokkiri

Next ep, seems like a misunderstanding episode

Kind of strange to go into a completely standalone story like this without much resolution to the previous arc.
Still, this was a fun episode, kind of felt like what they might've done if they made a GTO theatrical film.

Oh, also, I'm digging this new ending theme.

WTF!?!?!?!?! I thought I was watching the wrong episode! What an AWFUL transition.

I saw a post about the writers not being obligated to spoon feed us details, but I feel like it'd be common fvcking DECENCY to show Onizuka REUNITING with everyone and finding out about the Mercedes. WHY TF was he on a cruise ANYWAYS? If the writing staff had any COMPETANCY they would've squeezed another episode between 33 and 34 to fill in the gap... and I don't know, SHOW us the trip to the beach that they've been building us up for!?!

I thought there was gonna be a beach arc and everything.

Damn, that entire arc was completely rendered obsolete. I know arcs change but there's always some kind of canon transition or something.

This transition to 34 was just out of the blue... random. The audience clearly wanted a better conclusion.

So they really never even planned on showing us the big beach vacation...

Stupid. Infuriating.

(P.S. This was written only five seconds into episode 34. I didn't actually watch it yet.)

I thought this was a pretty decent series thus far, but this was just an explosion of inadequacy.

Huh... well, disregarding my comment above, I gotta say, this was indeed a very strange episode. Very hard to follow. And while the back-to-back-episode-transition was random -- the events of this episode were also seemingly random and unrealistic. Probably the worst episode of the entire series.

I thought it would be an average episode with Toroko struggling in show business again, but it appeared to be a different episode, way better than I expected earlier. :D

Interactions between Saejima and Onizuka were hilarious.

After the super long arc this was a nice change of pace. I like how strong the "friendship" between Onizuka and Saejima is xD

ED changed. But it's only the visuals. Not bad. I still like the first ED more. And I still skip OP2.

A running trend in GTO is each episode or arc always seems to be going one way, but then it swerves and goes a completely different direction. By the time the police raid happened, I was actually lost. That was some great misdirection.

Not a bad episode overall but still one of my least favorites. Didn't even remember the bomb fake-out but it was nice to see Tomoko Nomura calm and collected even when kidnapped and tied up despite a scary situation. And also didn't remember the ending credits being a little different, without Onizuka sitting alone in a classroom. Is it already time to greet the wonderful Shizuku ED for the last time?
