| Well, this is children's television so I'm not the target group. However... I was irritated by how easily the 10yo boy took command and how everyone started to trust him - "ganbatte kudasai!" - with ever blasting hero music in the background. Since there was no build-up at all for that, scenes that otherwise would have made sense now became embarrassing. I found the script unbelievable and illogical. And yes, even a crazy SF series should be believable and logical if it's any good! This was just a collage of anime tropes and character styles, like picking the current popular sounds and samplings from the radio to make a hit song. No substance at all. I liked the 3DS game though, that's how I found out about the anime. |
