| The first anime I ever watched that wasn't dub or Americanized. Its strange watching the intro after having assimilated me with anime as even now it comes off as foreign. The OP has that anime-sound if you know what I mean. |

| This was a solid first episode. Very nicely animated and featured some decent character acting. The dynamic established between the two main characters will most likely keep this show interesting. However, that romance tag does scare me a little. |

| Pretty good to start things off pretty interesting in fact with the OP premiered as well quite catchy I must say KyotoAnimation doesn't disappoint their animation quality is so good very well done and very crisp indeed all the introductions here with the two main characters Yuuta and Rikka are here and their personality really contrast each other and that might make a good plot with their differences Yuuta has cute siblings and Rikka is just above their building with her older sister just hope that Yuuta doesn't bully or hit her that much but it's kinda cute but hopefully not painful the ED is somewhat cool too as well as with those animations, good start in the series. |

| Never knew the embarrassing edgelord phase (that I totally didn't go through myself as a kid) had a syndrome named after it, but Takanashi might actually be too adorable of a chuunibyo "sufferer" to be cringy. Well, almost. Also, embarrassing or not, that toy sword is way too cool to throw out. |
