| Looks pretty interesting, loved the art and soundtrack. Definitely going to be interesting to see where they go from here. So far it has a ton of potential. The fall season's looking good. However, I'm going to guess that if it turns out to have a large concept it will have 26 episodes. I wouldn't be surprised if they make it a compact 13 though. |

| My very first impression: Whoa, what the?! Episode rating: 3/5 I like the use of classical music. And the ost matches the show well. Nice ED too, but I thought my computer was lagging for a second there! It's a nice show but not my cup of coffee. I'm not the type of person who likes supernatural, ghost, dark shows. I'm going to put it on hold for now and I'll watch it when it's finished airing so I can get some feedback from others who finished it. Art and animation are awesome so far. I adore character designs. |

| Watched it just now... Honestly... I know nothing of this anime. I assumed by the profile image that it'd be more.. bright... what a dark anime. Overall, I can't say Ep 1 has pulled me in in any way but no reason to not to keep watching. |

| So many interesting ideas, such high quality animation and surprisingly good direction--what else can I say to praise the first episode of this series? It just scares me to death: This episode boasts the same mystique as the first episode of SAO, but is also made by the same studio, A1 pictures. I'll leave it at that. A myriad of ideas are put into play, starting from the very first scene. We have supernatural human beings in conflict with regular humans, but the supernatural human beings exhibit similar traits of human nature. We notice what resembles like a family, but with dark secrets revolving in the background. We have a group of children, no different from average humans, that under psychological duress gain their adulthood, which is strictly defined as the realization of their supernatural powers and the subsequent rituals. Once come of age, these children's education is moderated by an independent Education Board that seems to control a frightful Cat Spirit. Of course, not the forget, we have a concealed graveyard right outside this seemingly pristine school filled with your average high school competition, but with devastating consequences, like Reiko's disappearance. Not too many answers, but a very interesting premise--I am hooked! |

| That was right up my alley! I love the eerie atmosphere and the interesting societal structure. It was heartbreaking to hear her mother lament over the loss of her prior children... no wonder it's such a stress to "awaken" as an adult. This society seems utterly fucked and I cannot wait to see more.... I really liked the art too. excellent start to a series. |

| it's kinda dark, horror stuff, but overall very interesting first episode. I want to know what's gonna happen next to the group, but based on my speculation, our main girl will be the one disappeared next but manage to escape and notify the group. Now it comes the last survivor game :P damn, can't wait for more, the art styles really fit the series, and the music. Feels like the whole village was up to something. I smell something fishy ... |

| First of all start with music!the bgm is really good! characters are well described!stll saki is the most annoying type! the art is good! but with the story,it really started from nowhere!and doesn't explain anything! but its still the first episode! i am looking forward to the next episode! i like shun,maria but i ain't fond of psychological anime's! 4/5  |
| I remember watching the PV for this a while ago and was *wtf did i just watch* still like that i guess it was normal that i felt unsettled the whole time watching this lol don't plan on getting attached to any of the characters seeing as it seems like they can die at any moment Will watch still clueless as to why it's 7.40 already though :S |

| Isayama Hajime should be awarded The Manga with The Highest Inconsistencies of Characters' Appearances. He keeps performing multiple plastic surgeries on those Shingeki No Kyojin characters in a SINGLE chapter. Yes, I've read up to the latest chapter of Shingeki No Kyojin manga. Forced myself to read through the kidsketching chapters after the anime's ended. At least from now on, I only have to go through the hell once a month. Patiently awaiting SNK TV/movie/OVA anime-sequel. The 2015 SNK live-action movie would probably suck. |

I had similar feelings, although I think the 'problem' is that this is a story that requires a longer setup. It's a lot of world building so far (evolution of this new society, explaining their power, the history/mythology behind it, etc.) and I think it will take a couple of episodes for the story to really get going. The question is if the show can manage to keep my interest until that point. |

| Not really sure if I should continue with this. The intro made it seem really interesting and hopefully they explain that bit sometime soon. I liked the music and the lighting is great a nice dark tone. The character designs however are really generic and hard to tell apart... as usual per anime of this era, so I guess I shouldn't be complaining. The main cast is already too big though, so I don't see how they're going to go about developing these characters. As for the main char shes way too easy to anger and her shouting voice is not easy on the ears >_<. It seems like its following the basic formula of MC and her friends at school... which is pretty disappointing as it looked to be more of a fantasy show at first. There also seems to be some elements of mystery a long with the supernatural aspect... Feels like a slightly darker Hyouka atm, but I'll keep watching and hopefully this gets better. |

| Bloody sound affects at 18:40 scared the shit out of me. I don't watch much horror so Q_Q. Reiko disappeared, GG. Did anyone else notice how the teacher stopped suddenly when Reiko was walking down the stairs? |

Art is good, get you eyes checked or look for a higher quality source... As for the story... this is only the first episode, aside from the synopsis we don't know what it is yet. |
