if your looking for english ones:
fate stay night
It should fit all your requirements(no voices for H-scenes though)
it has an enforced play route order(you can still make choices but you have to through a sequential route order)
tsukihime
fairly old game I think 1990's no voice acting but very enjoyable story, and theres lots of choices.

majikoi(partial english)
This one doesnt have many choices but the cg, voice acting is real good.

Kamidori( full name is kamidori alchemy meister)
The story itself is lacking but I think the gameplay(SRPG gameplay) more then makes up for it. CG is nice and has a lot of replaying value

If your ok with japanese ones then:
Coμ - Kuroi Ryuu to Yasashii Oukoku -
The Story has a nice dark theme to it, the cg is excellent but it has an enforced play route order(you can still make choices but at the start theres not many as you clear each character it increases but at the start of the game the only consequence is if you pick a bad its game over and its generally easy to tell which is right choice and which one isnt)

Irotoridori no sekai
This one has lighter theme then the above game and the art is fantastic.

I would recommend more but I dont have time at the moment is you want more recommendations just let me know :D enjoy

Here's the first few that I can come up with off the top of my head that fit that request.

G-sen Jou and Iro Toridori seem a little too niche and/or long for a 2nd VN <-- for me w/ a short attention span

If you'd be cool with a medium length, ordinary, yet solid story, I'd go for something like Da Capo even if you've seen the anime.

Also agree with Kanon, Kana, and School Days.

Don't know if "Konata Yori Kanata Made" is translated but if it is, it would be my number 1 recommendation for someone getting into VN's. Definitely one of those works that gives you hope in other similar projects.

Great artwork, short and sweet with real depth in the message behind the story.
There's an all ages version available as an app.
Recommend the PC version tho

I'd disagree with the school days VN cause since its more interactive then most VN's it takes a lot longer to finish the routes(if you try to skip you risk it unexpectedly closing and the english patch for it actually cause more problems if you were just to play it in japanese so it could cause a lot of fustration) and if people dont like the dramatic scenes then they wont enjoy the story.
