this has been a pretty fun series. The ep was great, there's some bit of fight scenes and i love that! Pretty nice ending too, cool to see all the cast again in the ending as well.

Mh, can't remember all of those girls (names, relationships, what happened in their episodes) but it was nice to see all of them once again.
And it was also nice that whatever-his-name-was appeared again. Throughout the show I always wondered how he was doing whenever Nobunaga showed up somewhere to take someones treasure.
This episode was constructed with the same structure as the last SKET Dance episode, which came a few hours ago, but I have to admit the Sengoku Collection finale was better made.
It was nice as an episode and great as an ending.

THE END

9/10

Not perfect by any means, but far better than the majority of shows. I enjoyed the nonlinear plot. Plus most of the episodes contain references to older movies. All in all it had a nice ending of returning to exactly where they started.

I don't really expect a S2, but would really like an OVA.

Nothing that stands out but it was still enjoyable show. Ootani (unlucky girl with the bandages) was my favorite character (with Kotaro in a close second) and Ootani's episode was the best imo.

I think this final episode was actually really good. I liked how they closed the season out. Playing Unlucky Girl full version was really nice because that song grew on me and is quite catchy and then this seasons ending theme too. Music was consistently one of the animes high point, as the first OP "Me wo Tojite Guyusshiyo" is awesome and catchy, and then this ones "Back into my World" was also good (love the way she says World). The background ost is solid, I think there was never a dull track and it kept the often dull episodes interesting.

Unfortunately this was a not good anime, too much inconsistency in quality. Bad episodes were really bad and decent episodes were decent, like no middle ground. Anyway of the 26, I did find these watchable and pretty decent.

Episode 7: Basho and the Haiku, restuarant
Episode 8: A war between rice and wheat
Episode 9:
Episode 10: Shinku/Jun school stuff
Episode 11: Casino/Hisuhide
Episode 12: Saturday Night Rider
Episode 17: Lu Bei/Pig + Old lady
Episode 18: Angel/Yoshitsugu pen pals to Angel then finally visiting her and then just learning of what happened to her, my emotions
Episode 21: Shingen/Fassad
Episode 23: Playground
Episode 24: Ieaysu/Kaoru

So I guess less than half. Character designs were really lacking, only Kaoru, Fassad, had good character designs while the rest needed massive improvements. 3/10.

Liked the slice-of-life feel to the episodes and especially enjoyed the background music.

While it's possible I totally missed such references in past episodes, anyone see the slight Mawaru Penguindrum in the carnival scene where Tsunehisa receives the candy apple? There's a picture of a penguin's head on the ground.

Who was that girl who fell from the sky at the end?

I liked the fighting.

the ending was kinda nostalgic, oldschool animes used to end with these clips.

Funny thing is, this anime has so many characters they had to use the 2 ending themes... and the extended version! so LOL!

Well, kinda liked some episodes from this anime but... I'll never recommend to someone.
Unless the person loves yuri and moe samurai stuff, ynow.

It was fun talking about the episodes with you guys, thank you ^^

I'm really glad to see ALL the warring state generals in this episode! However, only a few of them were given major dialogue.

Main focus on the finale was Nobunaga & Mitsuhide versus Yoshimoto and her gang.

The girl who fell from the sky was a "Last Episode New Character" as I've never seen her from the earlier episodes. Slamming against the bridge like a rag doll and falling to the ground then she got up like it was nothing, lol.

I love both OP and both ED. They're very catchy and I wouldn't mind listening to them repeatedly.

I'll never forget Yoshitsugu Ootani's episode. I've grown emotionally attached to that one, heh.

Thanks for the ride. The finale was great. :) It was fun, nonetheless. I've gotten used to having Sengoku Collection as part of my Fridays but now that it's over, I'm going to miss it.

Sad it's over, but what an amazing finale it was. :3
By far one of my favorite animes for various reasons. I thinks I'd like to blame that on the fact that if there was a story in the series I didn't like, it wasn't cemented as anything really impactful and on to the next story.

I can't really blame the studio for bad episodes either, because it was revealed at a Sengoku Collection panel last week that the Sengoku Collection anime wasn't really to have any real plot or anything and was worked on with about 5 other directors doing a fair amount of episodes. They were just given the most popular characters from the Sengoku Collection Mobile Card Game (There are around 1000 different characters in the game, male and female) and told to give them all their own episodes. So inconsistencies were inevitable.

But over-all, I enjoyed it and it's definitely quite charming if you take it for what it's worth.

Oh! And btw, the last girl introduced was Ludwig Van Beethoven! I think it kinda symbolized that there are still historical figures (Not narrowed down to just Sengoku-era War Generals) being dropped off in modern-day time. Not to mention, Beethoven is one of my favorite cards from the game. It was quite surprising, actually. Glad to see one of my top 10 make it in there somewhere! <3

A shame to see a series like this go. Though it may not have been anything great, it was still enjoyable on some cases. There were many side stories I enjoyed and others I didn't but overall, it was a nice experience. ^^

Did kind of tease around a little with the idea of a main plot and whether or not it put a hard focus on it, but I'm glad it decided to go another route and give side stories instead, it's a good change of pace from the usual and offered a lot of variety to the viewers.

I will definitely miss the artwork of this anime. It might have been greatly lacking in detail, but the style was very nice and the character designs, for the most part, were very good.

Kinda disappointed that they stayed afterall. I remember the other world where the Generals came from being featured in the premier so I was interested in seeing more of that but the ending felt rushed with how Mitsuhide rashly acted.

I definitely didn't expect this kind of episodic format when I picked this up. There were a few memorable eps such as the con woman, scientist, Masamune, Ieyasu and the one with the sand castle. Above all, I think I'll remember Four Leaves the most with its depressing tone. The majority of others I felt were too uninteresting for me.

Not really a fan of the art style. It looked very loose and characters were sometimes a gloopy mess, I didn't see any sharpness or definition to them. Its a shame because I thought the second OP and ED were incredibly well done, they were a highlight in itself to watch and I looked forward to them every time. Too bad the content in between that was lacking. 3/10.

Meh. It was interesting, but yet lacking. Can't blame them, since they had about 1 episode to do the exposition for each character, which was the interesting part of this.
The ending was lacking in and out itself too, not wrapping the story all that too well. A 5.

They seem to have skipped a character or two, based from the latest OP. At least one made a random cameo?

A great ending to a really good series!

It was kinda funny seeing how people's opinions on the show changed on the way and how many people (I suppose) dropped this.
The episodic form was totally enjoyable for me and I liked how there was little to no consistency in the plot, art or narration/direction of the episodes.

I would love another season of this show (yay for Beethoven), but some OVAs now and then would be fine too... :)

Well pretty good final episode with the fight scene. Akechi being dere was cute and I love Nobunaga and Akechi. However I was still hoping Nobunaga will be together with the convenience mart guy thought, sadly they only showed him for a while. Ending scene with 2 extended song was quite funny as said by the other comments. This show had so many characters that they had to use 2 extended version of the songs to show them all.
Though I like the ending scene nonetheless with them showing all the characters and finally akechi and Nobunaga holding hands.

Overall 5/10

I don't think it was bad, the ending was good, I'm pretty much satisfied with the whole series. I could say i stayed for the slice of life atmosphere of each characters in each episodes. It may looked like it was plotless, but the SOL for me was the saving grace.

8/10.

Well, what can I say? I made it through this series without dropping unlike some people. But anyways, I thought overall this series was so-so. I guess I'm more into the linear storyline with complex plot holes which I originally expected but turned out to be otherwise. The rather large cast of characters in the series and their separate arcs kinda pushed me away from praising this anime.

Overall, I'd give this a 5/10 for its disappointing ending and themes. Compared to the The Ambition of Oda Nobunga, this one didn't meet my expectations this time around.

I'm simply speechless. THIS is how a finale should be like! Final battle, resolving the main conflict (Nobunaga has finally something else on her mind other than collecting the treasures), using a full version of the ED song(s), tying up loose ends (Jun and Houjou) and a quick look at where everyone is now. Even though the animation was some of the worst I have seen during the fight scene I'm still giving this a 5/5, amazing episode from start to finish. Bonus points for poor Kotaru, couldn't finish her lines.

I was ready to give this series a 7, but after such a strong closing it gets an 8/10. I have to praise the absolutely fantastic pacing, they managed to fill out the 24 minutes without cramming everything into them. Enjoyable standalone stories told well. Sure, some episodes were less interesting than others, but this was Slice of Life done right. Quirky characters going about their everyday lives in their quirky manner. The coloring was aesthetically pleasing, the VAs gave awesome performances, the OP/ED songs were exceptionally catchy. I'm very glad that I came across this gem.

She looks happy, made me all warm and fuzzy inside.

"I'll never ever in a million years say goodbye!"

yuri end? yuri end! The ride is over. It had its many ups and many downs; it was a fun ride, if boring at times. Strong point of the show was definitely the music and song visuals. I especially loved the ED2 "Darling to Madonna", and I liked the OP1 "Me o Tojite Gyusshiyo". The art and character designs were less consistent with some quite good and some quite bad ones, though I appreciated the attempt to look more artistic with all those colorful backdrops.

I suppose all the girls featured in the past episodes got a cameo in this finale. Lol at the last-minute cameo by a new character.

Well, Im not angry but this is one of the worst anime I have seen so far. If this show has main plot, I will reconsider but the story structure is awful, terrible indeed.

Fishing rod vs. Katana. xD That was amusing.

As expected, they all decided to stay.

This was a great anime. Definitely much better than I expected. I liked all the stories and characters so much.

My favorite characters were Basho and Ieyasu.

Special props from the yuri moments. Kojuro and Masamune were especially cute. <3

But Yoshitsugu and Angel deserved so much better. :( The end of episode 18 was the only thing I didn't like at all. Well, at least Yoshitsugu has a cute cat with her, so she's not completely alone. Hopefully one day she will make a new friend. <3
