According to Morning magazine official website, Nakamura Hikaru's comedy manga "Saint Young Men" was announced to get an anime movie adaptation. An OVA will be bundled with the eight volume of the manga, which will be released on December 3rd. Staff Director: Takao Noriko Script: Nezu Rika (live action movie of "Kimi ni Todoke") Character Design: Asano Naoyuki (general animation director of "Doraemon: Nobita and the New Steel Troops - Angel Wings") Music: Suzuki Keiichi, Shirai Ryomei (live action movie of "20th Century Boys") Production Studio: A-1 Pictures Source: Morning official website Update Nov 22 According to the official website, another OVA of Saint Young Men will be bundled with the ninth volume of the comic book. It will be released in July 2013. The premiere date of the anime movie was announced to be May 10th 2013. I wonder who will do it? If it was a TV series I'd expect SHAFT to do it, but who knows about a movie. SHAFT is pretty busy so I guess they're out of the picture.  |

I could picture it as an OVA/OAD series like DMC, but a full length movie of pure randomness? Makes me wonder... Waaht? I didn't expect that to happen. I was thinking this series will get a 5 minute per ep series at most like all other comedy of this type.
