As of recently I marathoned:

Nijuu Mensou no Musume
Kemono no Souja Erin
Madlax
El Cazador de la Bruja
Rose of Versailles

---

Anyone want to take a gander at my On-Hold and PTW list and see what I should watch next? Something NOT similar to any of these series, and I want to avoid slice-of-life and anything space-related for now.

I have not seen all of those anime you have watched, but from your PTW i would suggest trying out:

Code Geass
Full Metal Panic
Michiko to Hatchin
Rainbow: Nisha Rokubou no Shichinin

Rainbow: Nisha Rokubou no Shichinin seems the farthest from what you've seen. Dead leaves is a crazy movie, that I can only compare to something like TTGL or RedLine. Lastly Shigurui is one of the best edo period anime I've seen, but fair warning it very violent and a bit on the artsy side.

Might watch Full Metal Panic or maybe Black Lagoon or something, don't know why I associate those two titles together, although I know I have yet to watch either even though they're fairly popular.

Rather not watch something depressing after watching RoV, so Rainbow will still be on the PTW for a little while. Not feeling artsy at the moment either, I'm in quite a difficult mood ;x.

Any other suggestions?

Seconding Black Lagoon.

I've heard Bokurano is pretty epic, you should probably continue it. Also get the Dogs: B&C OVAs out of the way (manga is better).

Saikano, Ergo Proxy. X (manga is 10000000% better).

Cencoroll, definitely. Great "movie".

You should go for Full Metal Panic or Black Lagoon. Full Metal Panic if you want something lighter with a bit of comedy thrown in the mix, and Black Lagoon if you want some intense action. I will also throw Beck out there as a suggestion (English dubbed version for sure).

Bokurano ans Saikano are pretty depressing, so I'd actually go with something like Moyashimon or Redline.
