The offside crap wasnt shit, it was great play by the opponents. In football (soccer) rules, if the attacker is past the last defender while he gets a pass, hes offside and isnt allowed to go on. The opponents defenders went all the way up to the middle line and Kakeru was ahead of them when he recieved the pass. Therefore he was offside. What the opponents did is called an offside trap. Kakeru and the defence line are almost on the same line and when Enoshima is about to pass to Kakeru the defence line steps up a little bit to play Kakeru offside. This is dangerous because when it fails and the striker isnt past the last defender yet (communication fail between the defenders) he isnt offside and can go on to a 1 on 1 with the goalkeeper. But these opps are so well trained that it practically always works. I dont know if theres any good explanations of this online as i learned the rules while watching the real game. Hahaha so this time they actually gave Aizawa a super-prediction ability that we have never seen before? ? I guess they ran out of money or something for this series, too bad i cant read manga cause no one is translating it.. chapters are behind anime.. .   |

In football offside is not SUCH a big deal I don't know why animes show us like it's the end of the world. |

I enjoyed this episode. Ri-san was too boss for everyone else! Without looking at ep37 spoilers, I'm assuming that next episode is either: - They lose to Sagamiguara and that would be a bad ending. - They win and then it rushes through all the other matches. - They win and then there's a time skip. - They win and that's it. :S luccide said: xxanimeee said: Area no Kishi is really a good anime You need to watch more.
