When I go to an anime/manga, I want to see my friends status on that anime/manga

This is crucial to have.

This already exists. Just look under the Stats tab for any anime, and it'll tell you whether any of your friends have it on their list, how many episodes they've watched, and what score they gave it.

i don't think that is intuitive enough.

Also the friend stats should show in the main page. I think that's the most important thing a user looks for first.

Why is it crucial? There are more pressing matters around MAL than this. At most, this could only add to the statistics, not directly helping the site.

And how would that look? I can't imagine it really...
Maybe add another column to the list to see your friend's ratings and such, but that would be very wrong and probably look horrible.
Indeed, I two look at how my friends have been rating the anime/manga they watched/read, but I don't consider it to be something meaningful or important. The stats page suffices just fine for that.
