Ahaha yep, no surprises there. That seems to be a rule of the Detective Conan universe - always three suspects! I found it funny that they mentioned twitter in this case. Remember way back to an old case where the use of internet chat rooms was a shocker to them? It just made me smile for some silly reason. |

Seems like another standard case - and I was hoping to see Heiji a bit longer... Well, the next case may feature him as well, but more plot relation would also be good(after all, Heiji wasn't on the train, so he obviously needs to catch up - or may be Conan already tweeted him about it?). As for the case, there's really not much to say, except that it uses the same old formula - three suspects, left- or right-handedness etc. The last page strongly suggests that there were two culprits - but I can't pick two out of three. It would be interesting to see if Gosho would make his fellow detective manga artist the culprit - does it mean that he's also capable of pulling off an elaborate crime? Well, waiting for resolution and maybe something more important at the last pages of the next file... |

It suggests that it was two people - the culprit and the victim - who drew the サヨナラ on the wall. They say "he" specifically, so they mean the victim (otherwise Gosho would use "that person" or "the culprit"). That's what I think at least. What makes me think is the stopped watch. Whenever it appears in a mystery, it means the crime occurred at a different time then we think. But this time we have the eye-witnesses... A theory - what we saw was actually a model of the victim's head being shot (the 2nd suspect) and the victim was already dead back then. I also suspect the tweeting lady, her alibi is too perfect. Maybe she killed the victim, talked the 2nd suspect to cooperate with her and to create an alibi for her. She could tweet him which floor to ride to (one higher than the eye-witnesses). She said her husband was almost tricked by the victim, but if he was actually tricked, she'd have a motive - and probably one of those wristwatches. Yeah, I'm actually convinced now that she's the culprit. |
