| to those who believe discussing the sex part is ridiculous - it would indeed be very ridiculous if the main focus of this series would be something either than romance itself. This may be different for those who haven't read the LN, as the Anime (and KiriAsu's relationship in it) are indeed way too rushed, but when I read the LN, the romance part was actually the only thing that kept me reading further. And an intimate event in a romance story, either than a shoot-em-up-hack-and-slash story, is just as much big of a deal, as would be a major boss fight in a series a la Black Lagoon or Fate/Zero. In other words, stick around for the series for the right reasons, read the mood, and set your priorities. TLDR; since I read the LN (I guess I, along with many others here, am a hated "beta-tester " of a sort) I cannot shake off the impression I got from the LN while having to judge the Anime version. And that impression was that it's primarily a romantic story. |

| I don't read the LN so I just read Chapter 16.5. And... well, damn. I change my mind. They screwed like rabbits. Either the anime is trolling us or they're still trying to keep it relatively 'child-friendly'. |
| well I'll leave it at that they were romantically involved at this time and something may have happened this episode but hopefully we'll know more by next episode well so far as of ep.10 my ratings for this series jumped from a 6 to a 7 for Kirito manning up |

Regardless of whether 16.5 was a "legit" chapter or not there is a space that it fits and, it was also written by the author of sword art online. It suggests that was his intentions regarding that area. |
