Felt kinda weird though to see Gon and Killua after multiple episodes of Kurapika; took me a second to recognize them >_> |

| 4/5 I like the animation a bit more this episode... well, until leorio and the kids showed up, I thought they were animated a tad strangely compared to usual. (Kurapika for the most part looked great.) Leorio's opportunities to show his strength are getting cut from this adaptation though, I wonder why... I don't really hate it because Leorio isn't really a character who fights all the time (or at all), but I'd expect them to want to add as much stuff as they can just to further delay catching up to the manga. and I'm really starting to associate violence in the MH anime with Uvogin. -w- |

| This fight will probably take 1 1/2 eps for This remake actually has slower pacing compared to the old version. The old ones only stuffs a lot of fillers, making it look slow; but if you compare the exact scenes of the original and the remake, the pacing of the dialogues in the original is faster. |

| I'm really enjoying HxH 2011. This episode was really good! Can't wait to see Uvogin and Kurapika fight it out. Also, the opening Departure is getting old. Even though it's the alternate version it's still the same song, I would love a new one. I guess we'll see that in the Greed Island arc thing. |

i like the Cameo Appearance of Pu from Yu Yu Hakusho  and dang i thought this episode will be about action but we have to wait next week for that |

| The fight between Kurapika and Uvogin has always been one of my favorite fights. It has been years since I first watched it in the original series, I watched many times since then. But still I enjoy it. It is as epic as Goku vs Freeza to me. I want to see how they made it in this new series. I can't wait for the next week. |

| HAHA DAMN KURAPIKA TRASH TALKIN UVOGIN!!! In all seriousness, the wires have all been set and the next episode the explosives are gonna go off. Cross fingers for animation budget similar to Gon vs Hisoka O.O but there's still another major fight in this arc, which I won't spoil, so who knows. |

| Kurapika and Uvogin are about to throw down! This fight should be good. I wonder what kinds of tricks Kurapika has up his sleeve that make him confident enough to just challenge a total powerhouse like Uvogin straight up like that. And now Gon, Killua, and Leorio know about the Phantom Troupe running amok in town. Maybe they'll end up teaming up with Kurapika to take them out. I hope that happens! The main cast has been apart for far too long, it's about time they reunite with each other. Anyway great buildup episode, really looking forward to next week's! |

| This adaption just keeps getting better and better and I don't know how it's possible. There might not have been as much happening as last week but it still felt like stuff was and the pacing is still spot on. I really hope they do the fight well, though so far the fight sequences have been amazing so I think it'll be fine. I can't see them putting it over two episodes though... I can't remember that fight being too long. XD I don't really care if it takes two episodes, as long as they do it justice. |

| Removed Leorio's match Build up was awkward...they didn't include Uvo jumping over rooftops...the first new york-ey moment.. Uvo kissing Shal was more gay than funny Chain Bastard didn't fit at all during Light Nostrade's scene...an action track played during a talking scene? Last episode it was used in a tense scene which was not fitting but..ok. Now it's just retarded. Animation was great Overall disappointing, not that I was excited for this episode in the first place ever since I knew the fight wasn't really in it. |

 Uvo and Shalnark better not be defeated whenever they get into a match (I guess that may happen, eventually), so funny. I really like that drum track or whatever that always plays, I need the ost just for it. But otherwise, like where things are going. I think I missed it but what exactly is Hisoka after, in terms of info from Kurapika? |

| Agreed on the pacing, but I guess it's worth it. I can deal with a bit slower pacing if it means less filler--not that there's been any filler, but I mean in the future. P.S. I loved that cameo from Pu! |

| Removing Leorio's arm wrestling match wasn't really necessary, was it? I liked that quite much. Also Madhouse's poor character design, in comparison to the manga, original stood out a few times again. Especially when Kurapika looked determined to face Uvogin. The rest was nice. And ye, I complained. Too bad this thread isn't called "Let's all talk about how great Episode 46 was". |

| I question why they felt the need to change it from leorio having a match of his own into walking down a road. Just to save money/time? It was a lot less interesting and one of the few moments for Leorio to shine is gone. The episode wasn't anything special overall, but it was a buildup for the next episode anyway. 3/5 |

| Felt the entire episode was stalling. Though it was nice to see Gon, Killua and Leorio again. I found the 'underground arm wresting' very retarded. I mean... seriously..? Betting millions/billions on arm wresting? I'd rather it be another fighting tournament, even if they didn't participate. |
| What really bothered me about this whole setup is that... how did Kurapika know that Uvo is coming alone? What if Uvo brought couple of other members with him? yes, I know that it's kind of in-character for Kurapika to be recless about his revenge, but thats straight suicidal. |

He didn't know anyone is actually coming. He didn't know anything at all. It appears that the most intelligent member of the main cast made a bunch of baseless assumptions and it just happened to happen like that. Unless there are other explanations. |
