I don't think it was so bad that it deserves such a low score to be honest... :| I mean 6.99? Though to be fair, the anime is not very good either. |

It may end up going up a little bit after completing, considering the scores from people who finished this show will end up outweighing those who scored it after dropping it, but I really doubt it. If anything, it'll stay in the very low 7's and high 6's considering most people agree that this show isn't too hot. |

I remember when this show was in the 7.2 range.... I had a feeling it would drop to the 6's. It was a show that looked promising (from the synopsis and first episode) and turned out to be a letdown, like Seiken no Blacksmith. Ironically, both shows have to same score (6.99). EDIT: Arcana Famiglia dropped to 6.98. ![]() Modified by Attia, 09-09-12, 10:12 AM ![]() |

I hate how anime is so focused on Liberta and Nova, puting them in scenes where they should not be and rest main characters from game cast are "supporting" characters in anime. Really, I don't know how I should rate this series... I little disappointed... |

Unless the Duello is able to make up for ALL THE CRAP that they gave us for 10 episodes (not counting episode 1) then maybe the score will end up raising up. It's getting at least a 5 or low 6 from me depending on the next episode. |

I honestly don't think it's that bad. I enjoy it a lot, then that's based on opinion. I gave it an 8 so far but people do tend to wait till the series ends to give it a proper mark. |

I think people had mis aligned expectations from the show completely ignoring its genre or the type of game it was an adaptation of, I love this anime. <img src="http://30.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_lx1a8gz3tu1qbxqfpo1_500.png" /> |

For starters, I'm sure many people (like myself) were unaware of the subject of the original game. The first episode made the series out to be a cool action-oriented series with some reverse harem. Then, with the second episode and after, we get something completely different. But, even putting aside all that, it's still a terrible show. Why? 1) Awful characters. Someone mentioned Felicita has a bland personality, and this sums her up well but fits the typical reverse-harem protagonist role. Still, they could have at least tried to make her interesting. Even the other characters have about one defining trait about them and...that's about it. Nova is the cool, smart, and talented kid. Liberta is the rash and idealistic boy. Jolly is the guy with the mysterious role and ambiguous loyalties. Shall I continue? 2) Awful plot. Wait, what plot? The first episode introduces the idea of the Duello, but after that, it gets shoved to the side until the very end. What do we have in-between? Episodes that accomplish nothing and barely develop the characters (flashbacks do NOT count as character development, by the way), and some sort of lead-up to Mondo and everyone's relationship to the Tarocco, which lead me to the next two points... 3) Awful pacing. We have entire episodes dedicated to absolutely nothing and contribute nothing to the overall story or do nothing to develop the characters. Case and point: the second episode where they find a cat and the cat's owner. 4) Deus Ex Machina everywhere! People's powers seem to be way too convenient for all the problems that pop up. Felicita loses her memories? Oh look, here's someone who has the power to bring back lost memories! *facepalm* I have this series so far pegged at a 3 or 4. Which one it'll be will depend on the ending. I think an overall score of less than 7 is an adequate reflection of this series. |

Everyone is ignoring one very important fact. THIS IS A SHOUJO!!! All the "filler" episodes are there for character development! If you wanted a 10 episode fight, you should have watched Bleach or something. |

The meaning of development in otome games is more like a relationship development rather than the characters finding their resolve or something like that like in shounen games. Though I have played the game and I have to agree there is almost no relationship development aside Liberta and Nova in this anime. To fit the story into 12 episodes, they cut lots of contents from the game and making other characters have almost no screen time. Looks like making an adaptation from a game with only 12 episodes seems to ends up in a failure, like Shining Hearts last season.. Then again, some adaptation that got 24-26 episodes are still doesn't really good as well but at least these series suffered less cut of the contents. Modified by melina_putri, 09-09-12, 9:18 PM |

7 points if Liberta and Nova make out 8 points if Debito gets jealous 9 points if Dante ntr's Mondo from Sumire and a perfect 10 if Felicità admits she's really a trap Am I into BL? hell no, but beats what's been playing in the last few episodes... 6 is actually being generous for this series |

Yeah, I was gonna say that the relationship development isn't that good either. I would've elaborated last night but I was on my DS. |
