I finished to watch Legend of the Galactic Heroes (all).... And now I'm lost I don't know what to watch after LOTGH, which became my favorite anime! I'm thinking about seeing one of these: Ghost in the Shell The Twelve Kingdoms Gurren Lagann Macross Terra e ... Mobile Suit Gundam Armored Trooper Votoms Break Blade So what should I watch ? other recommendation? * And also am in need of suggestions for sports anime. I'm looking for something like Major (my favorite) I've watched: Major Hajime no Ippo Slam Dunk Prince of Tennis Ookiku Furikabutte Initial D Hikaru no Go Eyeshield 21 Kuroko in Basket One Outs not suggest crossgame or similar ... I've only watched Gurren Lagann out of those, but I can say that it is definitely a worthwhile watch.  |

I vote Ghost in shell and Aoi Bungaku,even though it's not in your list lol I also suggest staying away (based on what you watched) from guren lagann,it's nothing special,pretty mediocre as for sports Captain Tsubasa  |

i recommend gurenn lagann it was fun to watch , but don't expect something deep from it . It starts out fine but the final episodes are great . |

Those are some fine choices you have there. You've got plenty of good things left, just don't expect them to be LoGH clones. I don't know, if you wan't a change of pace from scifi and space stuff, maybe watch Twelve Kingdoms. A somewhat decent contrast of robot anime too, from real to super. TTGL is great if you have the super robot spirit. If you don't, better stick with the other robot anime. But you seem to love those battle shows so maybe try it out sometime. And if you like sports anime, you should consider Kaleido Star. While not exactly about sports, it has the aim to the top theme and it is spiritually closer to shounen sport anime than shoujo romance ones. Actually, it has even less romance than Hajime no Ippo or Initial D. |

Thanks for the ideas! Aoi Bungaku, I watched some arcs..I need finish, I liked it! C.Tsubasa I watched this anime when I was child and I hated! I love soccer..but I can't stand this anime! I don't want LoGH clones...this is a impossible task. Hum...maybe change of pace from scifi and space stuff, is a good idea..so I'll compare less to LoGH (no that I want compare...but I know I'll end up comparing ) All coments about TTGL, makes me thinks it is childish show... Kaleido Star seems very interesting! thank you! Only watched TTGL and Break Blade out of those. Break Blade is a very, very generic mecha that isn't worth watching, not memorable at all. TTGL is some over the top manly stuff that is indeed worth watching, so watch it, it really is a must watch and a very enjoyable series. As for the other stuff you're planning to watch I haven't seen them but I'm also planning to watch them since I heard good things about them, so it looks like they are all safe to watch without being disappointed. |

no offense to the fans... But I just watched Ghost in the shell 2.0... I was expecting a awesome movie...and now I'm so disappointed =/ The idea is good... but the movie was extremely boring! I almost don't finished it!...the pace was so fu***** slow! The characters don't have nothing to offer, they are so boring...no charisma.. nothing! I could't care less about them!... nothing in this movie have appeal to me =/ The OST is the only good thing, I really liked! course in my humble opinion. Ghost in the Shell As for sports, try Buzzer Beater. It sucked though imo. |
