Well, time to wait to watch this until about a year after it finishes airing and the uncensored blurays are released. That's what I happened to do last time... Basically, why watch censored content when there will be uncensored. :P Edit: I forgot to add the trending comment that I didn't expect this series to get a second season as well. you guys need to watch the "ova". it was essentially a alternate ending to the tv series. Also it's not that unusually for anime to have a long period of time for it to get a second series. Like Sekirei and Hayate The Combat Bulter and Zero No Tsukaima. some of those waiting up to 4 to 5 years to get done. But Im delighted cuase it was a beautiful show. Stories was alright but it the art was so unique. |

At first, when I first started watching Samurai Girls back in 2010, I didn't expect much, but that unique art style and somewhat interesting storyline (plus, Kugimiya Rie) left me craving for more once it ended. I had lost all hope in a 2nd season of this, but I'm really glad it's here! Now, Sekirei season 3 where? I've been waiting for years now T_T |

the sole reason i bothered watching the first season was the epic artwork, characters and plot were just too plain, would have preferred something different with same artwork |

How odd. Like others, I'm surprised this happened after so long. The first season did sell decently (5,305) but not enough that I saw a sequel as inevitable. Still, the novels are ongoing, so I guess they see an opportunity to increase novel sales still. I doubt the anime itself will average more than 3-4k given usual sequel drop-off. Kvakond said: Oh dear lord, why? If people want tits and pseudo-fighting, just make another season of Ikkitousen. Even that show is streets ahead to this garbage. Ikki Tousen is terrible, its sametits everywhere. At least Samurai Girls had variety in its girls. ![]() |

HOLY CRAP, was not expecting this AT ALL....VERY PLEASED and definitely looking forward to a second season. As far as this OVA talk, all it was was just the final fight in full color instead of black and white, and an added scene at the end.... And plus 1 to the fellow sir who asked for the Sekirei season 3 announcement.... Don't get me wrong, Dog Days season 2 is coo, but come the fuck on Seven Arcs.....give me my damn titties.... |
