Well we all assumed it'll be reruns, but this got published today: http://www.crunchyroll.com/anime-news/2012/08/26/gintama-returns-to-tv-with-new-episodes-and-reruns So basically, is it going to be BOTH new episodes and reruns? (Yorinuki Gintama-san) According to Crunchyroll there will be new episodes. DISCUSS EDIT: And for those who did not know, the new Gintama will take over Sket Dance's time slot, so maybe Sket Dance will end or move to a different spot? I find it quite funny that Gintoki complains that Sket Dance took their time slot in the crossover episode and now Gintama has it. I wonder if Sket Dance will ever take it back. I really hope that Sket dance will just get moved to a different time. They just started a new arc with the new student council members. |

Was that really enough time for the manga? isn't that the reason why Gintama' stopped, they made that weird metaphor about some guy's hair falling out and how when it grew back they would continue. But either way good news, but I do hope SKET dance still airs.      |

Apparently, it might not be a weekly thing, like a new episode every 2 weeks, because it also mentioned that reruns will air at the same time slot sometimes. Signature removed. I don't mind waiting two weeks, better than waiting another 7 months. Seriously can't wait to see this going again!!!!! |
