I'm not sure about everyone else, but I feel as if this has been one of the best episodes. The entire thing was just hilarious, with so many different things going on I'm not even sure where to begin.

As This is episode 9, that means 3 episodes left. This one doesn't SEEM to be a two-parter like all previous episodes, so that means either we are getting a three-parter, or that this is a two parter and we are missing something. I propose the missing something is the missing fairy from the beginning of the episode, the one who was the pushover and pushed out of the fairy meeting at the beginning I doubt that though, so I'm putting my money on a three parter for the finale.
Ms. sweets also brings up "The last time grandpa hit me was before I left for school." at the very end of the episode. In the op the only people we haven't met is a group of girls. So my educated guess for this next arc/episode, we'll be seeing Ms. Sweets in a completely new setting. School! this could mean we finally get a lesson in human history and what exactly happened to those silly humans.

The Fairies ability to build and create technology so fast is disturbing and the fact that this show is about Humanity’s decline; it only makes me wonder if the fact that the fairies are a direct cause of why that is so. Humanity’s reliance on the fairies who show little to no constraint at all would definitely lead me to believe that humanities reliance on them lead to this decline.

The fairies were awesome(and just a bit creepy). They, with no leader, are all too happy to become the willing subjects of Ms. Sweets. They shower her with gifts, creating anything she would ever want and in return she gives them candy. Eventually from trees and other various(rare) bugs and such they are able to create an entire new society within a week. Of course though, easy come easy go, and before you know it, the fairies frivolous nature ends up destroying all of the essentials.(hmm...social commentary much, Jintai?) Luckily the only causalities are the island and its spiders(and maybe any fairies who may have been stuck in the mud.) The fairies all had pretty great lines. Pretty much anytime they talked brought about another laugh from myself.

Ms. Sweets was fantastic as always. She took a little too quickly to becoming a queen of the fairies and only proves once again how this ambiguous little girl is just a bit too accepting of raw power. Of course she is able to hide all the fairies and get off with a head bump from grandfather.

Something I hadn't really noticed until now, but I love how they use the music. They have some fantastic set up music, that just works for the moods they use.

I can not wait for next weeks episode and am deeply saddened that this show is so close to completion. One of the best of the summer, and will most likely be ending up on my list of favorites.

I feel like this episode needs to be shown in an environmental sciences class to provide an understandable and enjoyable demonstration on the strains civilization puts on environment.
Best episode so far with a very good social commentary.
Half way in, I thought Watashi was going to be overthrown, which would have made for an interesting social commentary, but I guess the Fairies are a very loyal group.

I HATED THIS EPISODE.
Because with it, we're one step closer to Jinrui ending y.y

On a more serious note, fairies really shone in this episode. They had a great deal of amazing lines that had me in stitches several times.
Gotta give it another 5/5

I don't know if I hadn't been paying enough attention before (because I usually don't pay much attention to the use of music unless it's particularly good/bad/fitting) or it was more prominent this time, but I was thinking the exact same thing. Music was incorporated really nicely.

Remember what Watashi said, (Unscientific) "That goes in the top ten list of things fairies should never say."

Actually, I'm just assuming they shielded the cables. Easy to do if you have the right materials, or you are a fairie...

So far the best episode (I feel like I keep saying this all the time). I agree that the music was very well done in this episode, I especially loved it when the ending music started.

Since chronology is really messy (the only thing I dislike about it) I decided to make a chronology table for other people interested in it (or maybe I'm the only one).
Assistant arc -> Probes arc -> Chicken arc->(?) Yaoi arc->(?) Stranded arc

I'm not really sure whether to put Stranded arc at the very beginning or at the end. Since we haven't heard anything about school before, I assume it belongs to the end. I'm not sure about the Yaoi arc as well since it can work both before Probes and after Chicken. If anyone has information about this, let me know. I need to know the chronological order. XD

Now, I'm going to fit this arc into the "Watashi is a mentally ill kid" theory. Yaay!! WARNING long rant ahead.

I don't see a problem with that at all. In fact, I'd be much more worried if it was the other way around.

The reject fairies made me feel somewhat better about fairies overall. Seeing them down about more than not getting sweets was something of a relief. Maybe making them feel like something I can understand a tiny bit better as living creatures.

Probably one of the most underrated series this season...

This episode was amazing.

So far:

Manga Arc = Chicken Arc = Fairy Survival Arc > Time Paradogs Arc > Pioneer Voyager Arc

I'd say that's an accurate ranking.

Fantastic episode!

The source of pride and confidence for the fairies is Watashi's Empire. They compare their city to abandoning a relative. They sure get attached to things pretty fast.

That "Repeato!!!" and "OMG" were nothing short of legendary.

So for the first in the anime a one episode arc as opposed to two and the quality didn't drop one bit. We witnessed the rise and fall of a civilization in 9 days that was destined to fail and as always you got to love Watashi's commentary throughout the episode. She was really speaking in volumes this ep, especially the humans not learning from past mistakes and wanting to seek out a new island to repeat the process all over again.

Well we're well on our way to topping anything we did in the past by destroying an entire planet. What with the decaying of the ozone layer and the rapid depletion of our natural resources such as minerals, grasslands, wildlife and aquatic species.

I was afraid this show wouldn't be able to return the amazing quality that was the first two episodes. It was still entertaining, but the social commentary, storyline and events just weren't as interesting
This episode COMPLETELY changed my opinion. That was so fucking fun to watch. Just Watashi being Watashi, fairies being fairies, with the great art style that is so fun to watch

Definitely one of the best shows of the season

Hey boy! LOL

Oh the trappings of civilized living, I guess there are too many things we really take for granted just because we've grown accustomed to it.

Woah from simple survival to governance, the environmental impacts of progress(she might be indirectly responsible for wiping the three indigenous spider species Grandpa was talking about in the end), population explosion, social decay through vanity and apathy. It's like watching Imperial Rome's "bread and circuses" with the literal and out-of-context "Let them eat cake"-thing and then finally Plato's Atlantis. XD

Jinrui wa Suitai Shimashita Episode 9: The History of the Rise, Decline and Fall of the Fairy Fail Nation by Watasahi. >_<

Honestly, this episode is on par with the 1st arc... just incredible!

The social commentary on humans/civilization is SPOT ON. There was over use of the earth, invention of religion, narcotics, and indoor plumbing (...to name a few). This episode brought me back to the genius that is this show.

Well done.
