| As one of my favorite arcs, I loved it! It brought be back to the time I started watching OP for the first time. Now, I eagerly await One Piece Movie Z. Knowing Oda, I'm sure it'll be epic. |

| This was truly amazing. As most One Piece fans I also have this as one of my favourite arcs and to see it in such an astonishing animation really makes me feel all hyped up over One Piece again. :D |

I have found some Italian/spanish (Don´t remember which) on the web and raw versions too. Well we just have 2 options at the time either wait for a sub or watch it raw. |

| Does anyone know why we still haven't found an english subbed? I mean... out of all the languages for the sub to come out in- there are italian, portugese, spanish, etc.... but no english... I would imagine english would be one of the first... are the english subbers too busy? or do they not want to sub it? o.0 I wanna watch it already and i've been looking every day :( |
| Just watched it raw. I love the animation, and since the Arlong arc is one of my favourite arcs, I enjoyed it quite a lot! The biggest difference I noticed from the original (story-wise) was the part with Luffy being stuck with his feet in the rock. |

| They can't do that, they don't have so much to adapt, more movement means more panel to adapt, and the gap between the anime and the manga is too short to do that. |

| OK WHY IS THE SUB NOT OUT YET! SERIOUSLY NOT COOL! @Avenir I think Ubercook just meant the animation quality should be that high for the anime. It wouldn't change the amount of manga panels used for each episode. Of all of the big shounen anime One Piece has the worst animation quality which is just tragic. |

What I didn't like is that they cut out the reactions from the villagers when Luffy first punched Arlong, and maybe from somwhere else. Overall it was a good special. Love the art, and Luffy's voice still had the same epicness that I felt when I first watched the anime. |

| Someone made some great English subtitles over at ArlongPark forums. In fact I believe they're 2 different english subtitles the ones I used are actually good quality too just have to search for them, they just haven't been attached to the movie and uploaded to torrent. Perhaps I'll do it. |

| I really enjoyed watching the special. Seeing the past arc (Nami's being especially good), also it was the first arc I'm pretty sure that staged legit 1v1 fights for each of the main characters to win. I loved the animation and One Piece in general. Looking forward to One Piece Movie Z which i just noticed on the site |

| I was so creeped out when luffy appeared out of nowhere, when Nami was stabbing herself in the shoulder. In the original version it was less.... creepy? When I saw it in the special it felt like the bathroom scene in horror movies. Or in a horror movie when you turn around, or open a door. We see Nami crying all alone, then suddenly the camera angle does a close up to Luffy standing directly behind her all randomly. It's really dark out, and Luffy is a lot less cheerful (more moody, bipolar, etc.). It was a horror movie moment srsly. Other than that... it was pretty good. There were a few less smooth edits, where people randomally were there... but otherwise, it was fairly good :) |

| I just finished a few days ago and i thought that the recap was amazing. The animation was much better. All the important scenes were there. -the fights were cut shorter tho while the flashback might of been to long was the only flaw. I really liked the reshowing of nami stabbing herself and asking luffy for help. I think that was a crucial part. As well as the desk and stuff being thrown out. |
