Today's experiment is the Mobile Diver Ze'GOK, designed to intercept the Federation's missiles ascending to space. The driver is the brash marine, Weiner Holbain.

We can clearly see a formule in this series:
- A new, excentric, pilot comes to test a new weapon
- He suceeds, but end up dying
- The weapon is not mass-produced

Well, at least the four first episodes of this sereis were like that. Let's see if the last two will be this way too.

How could this engineering guy refuse to go out with this redhead beauty? I think his eyes were in the seaman lol

It's too sad to know that all of their sacrifice and efforts will be in vain, since we all know Zeon will lose the war. I think that's the nice thing about this show: It's the first one where the main guys are Zeon, and we are able to see that they have good people among them too.

You will quickly learn, especially in the sequel of IGLOO, that there are some screwed up people in the military (lol). Weiner is no exception; he and the gunnery captain from the first ep are zealous in what they do.

Zeon was portrayed at the tyrannical empire in 0079 and beyond, but they are quite human too and want freedom in space. Earth and space repelled one another, power corrupted, and war happened.

man this series is way too formulaic, you know exactly how the ep will go after seeing only 1 episode

Jizzy as you would call yourself because youre a dick The most butthurt award goes to you And clearly you havent watched that many shows thats why you cant determine if a show is unique or not Or maybe you're just a child who likes common stuffs where hero saves the day and guys gets all the girls. Sad taste you have there kid you came up to me in the first place making you look more like a kid who got slapped without me even knowing it and start crying about it to me

Well thats kind of just the way it is, its based on a team testing out weapons for use in war, plain and simple. I am not sure if it will change at all but that seems to be the formula.

The "soldier of the day" was a bit more appealing than the previous ones.

Still can't see past the bad CGI, but story/action wise it was pretty good!

Yeah, I enjoyed the parallels between his and his grandfather's respective stories and the way he met his end was pretty poetic. The show might be formulaic but what can I say, I like the formula.

I'm finishing the series for the sake of finishing. Hardly anything revealed so far is of any value. Low entertainment wise as well. Even with the low quality animation from late 70s and early 80s, we were able to perceive emotion from the characters. Even if it was displayed in an exaggerated state. Here, the CGI just displays computer code, no emotion. Didn't like the episode.

another great episode, like the past 3. I love how MS IGLOO takes Gundam universe and does something creative with it every episode, focusing on war strategy. this show isn't simply mech vs. mech, it's always a more realistic approach on what a mobile suit would be tasked with in real battle.

It was a good episode, the new test pilot was certainly different. The mission was interesting too with them dropping the mech from orbit so he could shoot at the ascending rockets. I liked how the stakes are getting upped, with the ship being in danger during the drop.

That part when Werner was breaching the atmosphere at the end and that water sound effect played made me think of the Fate/Extra loading screen XD
