According to Dengeki Daioh magazine, P.A. Works' original anime "Nagi no Asukara" was announced. Details of the new anime will be revealed at a live event Dengeki 20th Anniversary Festival to be held on October 20th.

Only the the designer of Haganai and Denpa Onna alone is enough to make me interested.

Just hoping that the story isn't too slice of life ala Hanasaku and Tari Tari.

At least we'll get very pretty characters.

I assume this is a joke. She's one of the best out there. (Toradora, True Tears, AnoHana, Hourou Musuko, Hanasaku Iroha, need i say more .. ) and is certainly running hot at the moment.

After all .. if she can take the premise that was AKB0048 and turn it into something watchable then she sure has talent.

P.A. Works and Buriki? I'm totally in!

It's always funny how some people hate Okada. She has enough "not so good" animes but it definetly not her fault that they fail. And she still made scenarios for enough great series. Plus all other staff looks good for me but I hope it won't be slice-of-life.

Was interested until I saw Mari Okada. If this was the Mari Okada that wrote True Tears, I'll be more than happy, but this is the Mari Okada as of late that wrote BRS, Aquarion EVOL and AKB48.

I'll take her over Hiroyuki Yoshino or NishioIsin, but she's very very overrated and has a bad tendency to write bad slapstick fanservice and overwrought melodrama. And emasculation... though of course she's not alone.

Exact opposite sentiment here. But then, Hanagai was just awful, so I'm probably holding that against the character designs as well.

I might watch if not ecchi.

Not setting my expectations very high here. I've enjoyed a few P.A. Works anime, but the staff's resumes didn't exactly impress me.

Buriki - yes!
PA Works - eh... I like some of their stuff, other stuff not so much. If it's a standard romance, I probably will not like it, as for some reason the way PA Works does straight-up romances never works for me. But it can be good if it's secondary to other more fantastical story elements. I liked Another, and I loved Angel Beats!, messy writing and all.

Mildly interested, then.
