Anime production studio Encourage Films has announced that they have suspended director Sato Junichi's original anime project "Wish Angel". Ikeda Toyo, the President of the studio, explained that they decided to give priority to other projects, which have been running in parallel with Wish Angel. Wish Angel official website Characters of Wish Angel Wish Angel was announced in 2010 as an original anime project about a high school cheerleading club produced by the staff of Kaleido Star series. I kind of feel disappointed. I really loved Kaleido Star so I got really excited when I heard that they were going to make a somewhat similar series. |

The background from the website looks like tamayura's and the cat character does look really unique, to bad it will take time for it to come out.  |

That's a shame, I started looking into this one after I finished Kaleido Star and I thought it sounded quite good. Oh well, as long as it eventually gets made I'm happy.  |

I agree with that judgment: after all, this is the same studio that gave us Symphogear! I work in VNs. Sometimes, they have h-scenes and I go "waai~". VN Projects: Kud Wafter, Natsuyume Nagisa, ??? |

Been waiting since Wish Angel was first announced, and now to receive this news is so sad. At least they finally gave more word instead of just letting it sit idle. Hope the suspension isn't too long as I am still looking for to this! |

I don't know if I want to live in a world where Satou Jun'ichi is not a top priority. Though, yeah, if this means a faster Tamayura 2 (though it's unclear it would) then I'll survive. BUY YUYUSHIKI BDS ALL DAY EVERY DAY |

And thinking about it... series like Kaleido Star drawn by people who were working with Symphogear o.O tha would be interesting, remembering it's quality (it wasn't so bad but it had epic moments).
