As the title says i'm looking for an anime where the main character is lazy/silent and everyone thinks he is weak or just a normal person but then fights and he is just kick ass?sorry if this is too vague, best anime i can think of would be van from gun x sword.
(sorry if this is in wrong section new to this haha)

Agreed. You can also try Akatsuki from Hagure Yuusha no Estetica which is airing now. He fits pretty well.

Chrome Shelled Regios, Legend of Legendary Heroes, Hagure Yuusha no Estetica, Sacred Blacksmith, these are all the ones I know of that fit this. Maybe Rurouni Kenshin and Trigun too, love anime like this lol...

-Beelzebub (silent and lazy but has a pretty bad rep so most people already know he is strong)
-Gintama (probably the most lazy MC I can think of, immediately what I thought of when I saw the title. the anime itself is more of a comedy so there isn't necessarily going to be a lot of action in every episode and also it is very episodic so the plot is rather downplayed)

Code Geass? What Code Geass?

Trigun is something you might like. The main character acts so goofy/stupid when he's actually the renowned Human Typhoon. Pretty cool, classics are the best.

Or maybe somehow Hyouka? Though the main MC doesn't really "fight". But more on, he's lazy (he loves to save energy) but he's actually good at solving stuff if he focuses on it. It's more like, school life. So idk if you'll like it.

I lol'd at him too xD

And yeah, try Hyouka, I was planning on recommending it but it's not an action...so I don't know if it qualifies...
