I'm not sure if it's just me but ever since a couple days ago (which it was really unstable that day) my avatar has been jumping between two different avatars, my Sword Art Online one of Asuna and my Binbogami one of Ichiko. The Binbogami one was the current one I uploaded, the SAO one was my previous one.

At first I didn't mind but now it's kinda annoying. I was wondering if anyone knew if it's just me or is the site still being unstable/laggy/doingrandomrollbacks?

As I post this, it's the SAO one. About 5 hours ago, it was the Binbogami one.

Yeah. This has been happening to me ever since the 'forum search' option was reimplemented.

I currently see the SAO avatar of Asuna, not the one from Binbogami. When did you upload the new one? Gifs always seemed to be more problematic than png/jpg and took longer to change and stay stable.

When I check the local copy of your avatar I see a SAO one with Kirito. When did you upload this one?

I recently uploaded the Kirito... recently being 5 days ago. I have yet to see it on my screen the past 5 days. It's always jumping between the Binbogami and SAO of Asuna.

Just before I posted this, it was the Binbogami one, then after I posted it changed back to Asuna... meh.

I think the unstable-ness of the avatar system for this site has reached a new level. My avatar has been jumping between 3 different avatars the past 3 weeks.

/Goes and uploads a new one.

Possibly 4 now.

Also seeing a lot of other peoples avatar jumping between a couple different ones too lately.

It's a problem of the image that I put or it's a server issue ?

I'm sure it's the site/server or whatever. I use multiple other forums and none of them have this issue.

Though MAL's always had been a bit slow uploading avatars, especially animated ones but hasn't been this much trouble ever.

Of course, I have no problems with my profile picture which it use to be as troubling as my avatar to change.

Hmm, I think this happened to be me before also but right now, the only avatar I see from Paul is the Asuna gif of SAO.

I have never seen the others that were mentioned yet.

The only avatar I've ever seen Paul with is the Binbougami ga! one. Not sure why it's changing for everyone else.

I tried changing my avatar for the past few days, but everytime I come back to mal I still have the old one, it's kinda annyoing, eventhough Rihocchi is fine of course

Hmm... I got problem with avatar.

When I use my mobile, I can see avatar I wanted it to be.
When I came to my computer, I see old avatar :/
I don't know what is problem, cache? No Cleaned many times.

Yea I get this issue as well.

I thought the issue was fixed for me since it stuck to my 'new' avatar for like a week or two, but now it's switching between my old and new one again.

I actually just gave up on trying to solve the problem and ended up uploadin a non-animated avatar. Amazingly, it only took like 10 seconds to upload and be view-able to all.

Happy to see I'm not the only one with this problem. Been trying to upload a new avatar for a few days now, but it just keeps going back to the old one. Is this being investigated?

*actually, nevermind. Just as I posted this my avatar changed, LOL.

Trying to change your forum avatar? is it in the right dimensions and under the maximum file size?
