Here's how I feel: "What the?...uh...how unexpected....okay,I guess.Let's go with that ending......yeah.Moving on." Unexpected endings are not necessarily bad. In fact, unexpected is good. But ya, it's frustrating sometimes when the ending is not "happy". For example, Check out My Anime List/My Manga List |

For example, not all vampires died in shiki. that little girl is alive and safe cos shes with that junior monk who turned into a werewolf. but be honest the living dead vamps or zombies dont belong in the living world. thats why its called living cos only the living things belong here ![]() |

OhNasti said: almost 70% of the anime i completed, the ending is full of shit. But i rated them on the Story. if i wear to look at how the ending was i think almost all the anime's on my list would be 5 and 4's. @kapiman, is worth the finish. you will never know.... yah but there is always someone with a kind of 'code geass' ending :) (atleast for me, the ending summed it up perfectly, I mean...dayum Lelouch) looking forward to the third season btw. and yah, I found the end of Death Note also quite unsatisfying (not because Light dies though, more because of the way) Besides, in general I'm hatin' endings of animes that have a good manga and the anime is like 26 episodes of 5-6 rated play and ends like --cut-- ok end. I mean, f*ck you too. This world is mine. I think this world may even just be a long, long dream I'm watching. You guys may just be illusions, and it can't be proven whether or not you really exist either. In other words, this world was created with me at the center. So what will happen if I die? I don't know. My imagination isn't very creative; I just can't imagine myself dying. In other words, there is no way this world can completely disappear. But if I die, then everyone will disappear. I am the only one in this world who won't disappear. The rest are just people I see as if in a dream. -Claire Stanfield, Baccano! |

If the ending wasn't satisfactory I will immediately get an episode or two into a new Anime. Helps me be less judgmental to just dive right into another. ![]() |

kusoatsui said: I am not bothered by most endings. But there are only two types of endings that piss me off and will effect the overall score I rate an anime.right ive felt like posting this because for the past 3 days i've been watching those kinds of anime where it would be good at the start of the series then when it's nearing the ending the twist of the last episode gets more and more obvious. for example *spoiler alert* death note: he dies even though he's the main protagonist Everybody or almost everybody dies anyways ending.I have encounter several anime with this type of ending. This makes everything that happened in the previous episodes seem like a total waste of fucken time. Its like the author couldn't come up with a ending so he just fuck it I'll kill everybody off. Reset ending. Its where everything is reset to that happened before the first episode. I think I only encountered only one anime that had this type of ending. This makes all the episodes seem like they were all for nothing. Its practically the same thing with the everybody dies ending, its like the author couldn't come up with a ending so he just said screw it I will just reset everything and put the ending off for later. |

I was kind of disappointed with the ending of Welcome To The NHK, the first half of the last episode was great then it just fell flat IMO. Removed signature gif due to forum restrictions. Please check PM for more details. |

Neon Genesis Evangelion + End of Evangelion. Most disappointing endings, ever. I can excuse Neon Genesis Evangelion, as they were running low on their budget and ended up making something that was at least somewhat interesting to watch. That's why I watched End of Evangelion, so I could get a proper ending to a series that had been very interesting up till that point. It felt a bit rocky during the beginning, but then they really set it up for an epic ending right at the half-way point of the movie. Then everything after that turned into a confused mess of visuals that led to an ending which was just as unfitting as the Neon Genesis Evangelion ending. Besides those, the only endings that disappointed me was because there wasn't anything left to watch after them. Some parts of this post may be exaggerated. |
