Hey guys, I'm just about to finish the second season of Spice and Wolf, and I love the series, but unfortunately it doesn't look like there's going to be a third season as of now, and considering it's already been 3 years since season 2 ended, it's unlikely that they'll produce one. So, I'm thinking of picking up the light novels, but in the meantime, I'm looking for an anime similar to Spice and Wolf, I've already checked the recommendations on it's page, but nothings caught my eye. (looking for the romance part, not the traveling around selling goods part) Basically I'm looking for any supernaturalish romance where the girl isn't a regular human. Also, for those of you who've read the light novels, how are they? I'm just wondering if all the dialogue gets tiring. Examples of what I'm looking for Sora no Otoshimono Tasogare Otome x Amnesia Kannagi Elfen Lied Sekirei To love ru Seto no Hayanome Spice and Wolf (obviously) Edit:My anime list is finally up to date for the most part so please take a look before making a suggestion Thanks Modified by baseball3b, 08-19-12, 9:30 AM "The world breaks us all. Official translations are slow as hell if you can't read Japanese. [C] Not saying that it's good, just saying that it might be what you are looking for. As a child, I was told that society is a melting pot of talents; knowledge and experience combined to form important alloys that will contribute to mankind. When I got to highschool, however, I thought that it's more like a river in which the water represents our peers while we ourselves are the stones in the river. Constant erosion by mindless majority sheeping has made us lose our unique edge. After I hit the age of 18, I realized that I've been wrong all along. Society is no melting pot. Society is no river. Society is a person, a very skilled rapist, and he has fucked us all. |

Thanks for the suggestion, but I've already seen Kannagi,(it was on my list in my original post) I found it pretty decent, the manga's better in my opinion though "The world breaks us all. But Holo is what really made me love the series, she has to be one of the best female leads I've seen. Keep the suggestions coming! "The world breaks us all. If you want the vibe of two people travelling together with romance, I'd definitely recommend Katanagatari and Phantom: Requiem for the Phantom. The girls, well, they're not supernatural things but they're definitely different from a regular human. |

I've seen Katanagatari, it was okay, and I'll have to check out Phantom : Requiem for the Phantom. Keep them coming! Need more! "The world breaks us all. I realize why, but I can hope someone might see this and suggest a decent series even if it doesn't exactly fit what I'm looking for. I mean, there are thousands of anime out there. I'm allowed to hope, right? Let me spell it out for you then: it is extremely rude to ask for recommendations with an incomplete list and then posting 'oh I have seen this, oh I have seen that' to users who are taking the time to make recommendations based on your list; especially when, on top of that, you do not update your list even after you've posted this annoying reply. |

Well seeing as I'm fairly new to this site, I'm sorry I don't have enough time to go through and add every anime I've seen. I didn't keep track of every series I've watched before I joined this site so obviously it's difficult to add every series and thus, my list is incomplete. Although I realize my mistake now, I was never rude in my replies to the users who made recommendations. Thanks for clearing up the confusion though, didn't exactly know what you were talking about in your previous post. At any rate, before this escalates further, I'd like to end it here.
