5th volume is SS(same as last for now, 8th). So it's a good thing to finish S1 on 4th volume but 13 eps is just not enough for this.

That's a weird amount of episodes.

Well, at least you can think that the story will be told decently instead of them trying to stuff the 4 arcs into 12 episodes like production teams tend to do.

BTW, it looks like the BD volumes will be 7 in total. So if that's the case the web episodes will probably be released regularly similar to Oreimo so that fresh content is coming out while the Blu Rays are being released.

Will Crunchyroll get to do the last arc as well? or with this be website only?

That's another concern. I don't think anything like this has happened with a show CR has simulcasted from the start.

I'm not counting shows with one bonus episode only available on BD; it's just assumed those won't be streamed, though CR got one that last Drrr!! ep somehow (but not Sora no Woto's bonus ep). I mean the Bake/Saki/OreImo situations with multiple episodes airing outside of the regular TV channels. I guess we'll get an idea how it'll play out for CR when Saki's episodes finally get scheduled, which should happen before we hear anything about Kokoroko's. At least it damn well better.

Kinda logical... since I don't see how the plot of the story can go on for 24-26 episodes.

I'm okay with that.

We're only covering 4 of 8 novels (6 of which I gather are full arcs), so with another 1-2 novels it would be easy to go at least two cour.

Actually it would be easy to do it on what already exists, if we can get 17 episodes out of 4 novels. Even ignoring the side story ones, Nise Random and Yume Random could probably fill in another 7 eps without breaking a sweat.

I'll just be content that I get more than 12 episodes. It will be a pain in the back to wait for the additional ones of course.
