Ok, here's the deal. Myanimelist provides this synopsis for the Anime of Ebiten:
Noya Itsuki just started her school year at the Ebisugawa High School and since she has always had a fascination with space, she decides to join the astronomy club. However, she mistakenly walks into the all girls Otaku Club. She notices that the members are really weird, but Itsuki has yet to realize that she isn't in the astronomy club. Her life is about to get complicated by being surrounded by so many girls.
Notice how it says HER.
The Manga for Ebiten, however, has a different synposis:
Noya Kazuki is a high school freshman who joined the astronomy club. This is the story of what was waiting for him once he stepped his foot in there...
Notice how it says HE and Kazuki instead of Itsuki.
On Wikipedia:
Itsuki Noya is a new student at Ebisugawa High School. He has an interest in astronomy so decides to join the Astronomy Club (天文部 tenmon-bu?). However, he mistakenly joins the similarly named Astronomical Club (天悶部 tenmon-bu?): a club for female otaku with fujoshi interests.
It's HE again and this time Itsuki not Kazuki.

The info for Noya Itsuki on MAL suggests he/she is a girl, but there is no picture provided. However, this is what the character is supposed to look like:
Ok, can someone please explain what's going on? Is it Itsuki or Kazuki? Is it a male character or a female? Crossdresser? What? Did they just have alterations between the manga and the anime ONA adaption?
Anyone have a clue?
