So a while back i watched kanon and went straight to Clannad and then to after story got 14 episodes in when someone decided to spoil it and after finding that out I kind of lost interest but then i kinda forgot what was spoiled and went back to watch it

when things started happening I remembered and started uncontrollably crying from episode 16 onwards untill the end of the series, after watching kanon i remember crying a little from the story and expected around the same with this, boy was i shocked, never cried so much in my entire life

I plan on watching Air next will I need more tissues?

i just finished re watching after story after its original airing. i noticed it could had used a few more episodes like a burial, spin off episodes about the side characters after graduation, and a poor man's wedding. At later episodes, ~6 months = 1 episode and the recap episode was decent but it should have been a stand alone special rather than making it the final episode. I hope Little Busters is as good as the Clannad franchise this fall.

I thought the air movie was more sad than the series, i havent completed the series though so i cant be for sure.

yeah because air's ending was just depressing.

Actually the series is a lot more genuinely depressing.

But it varies from person to person, OP, but I definitely cried my eyes out for Air (and Clannad).

I just finished Kanon and like Clannad I really wish it was longer. It makes me sad finishing these anime, I feel so lonely afterwards :(

Prepare your tissue. While it may be objectively worse than Clannad (it's still pretty good, though), almost everyone need tissue for the final arc.

I watched Kanon and I liked it and I watched Clannad and the After Story and I LOVED it!!!!!!!! I don't think I will watch Air....I have heard alot about it but I don't like shows that have a very sad ending. At least with Clannad it was an emotional ride but to me it finished with a happy ending. I adore Tomoya Okazaki best male lead ever!!!!
