Chihayafuru Marathoned it all weekend -- it's almost impossible not to. It met expectations, stayed at my predicted 8/10 to the end. I've been saving it up all summer, mostly with the hopes that NyanTaku would finish subbing it by then, but of course they didn't, but Commie was good enough. So far, it's my favorite game-genre anime, and I absolutely can not wait for the second season. I just know it's going to be better. The show's only weakness is the game of Karuta itself -- just so dead simple and dry that it's a bit boring. But the show tries hard to make it seem better than it really is, so I'm good. The characters rock: the emotion, the excitement, the ambition, the awesome camaraderie, it's all there! Chihaya's SUCH a good character. Arata's a bit iffy with me though, but maybe they'll make him better next season. Overall, I'm wholly satisfied, and so depressed that I have to leave the Chihaya world for now... Fate/stay night. It was flawed, but I enjoyed it. Main cast was good, especially Rin <3 I liked shirou too, though he was annoying sometimes. In the rest, it does not deserve all hate it got. Once again got convinced to not listen to what people say Nipaaaaaaaaaah ~ |

The World God Only Knows season 2. With its combination of a good array of characters, great story, and unique brand of comedy, it was a great watch that I had to do a marathon for.  |

Kids on the Slope. I found the ending to be a little rushed, even for a 12 episode anime. Regardless, I still loved the fuck out of it. |

Ben-to Great series. I liked the action, voices and such. OP was nice too. Though the twins and the Ume bitch stopped me from rating it higher than 8... I hated them so fucking much... |

Nisemono isn't that much different from Bakamono if you ask me. There's a whole lot of Kanbaru (hnnngg) which is a good thing. What do you think you're piloting? Great Mazinger? Dangaioh? Yet, I still cried like a bitch in After Story. It's literally the only time I've ever cried watching anything. And it gets me every single time.
