Also, give a brief summary of what you thought of it. I just finished Bakemonogatari. It was very creative and a huge breath of fresh air among the generic action animes and slice of life shows I've been watching recently. It was pretentious and arty but that's why I love it so much. The dialogue and the animation were so good that it made me forget that the entire show was just a guy and a bunch of girls talking to each other for 20 minutes every episode while a nonsensical and frequently ignored plot is dangled in front of them. Hell the talking episodes were the best part. Modified by SaberRitsu, 09-30-12, 8:06 PM |

A-Channel. It was good, it reminded me a lot of Lucky Star since there's 4 main girls and it's quite funny as well. :) Only problem I had with it was the songs that played near the end of each episode, made me cringe a little inside XD |

Last one i watched was The Idolm@ster. Actually liked it quite a fair bit as it was a fresh breath of air compared to most of the genres i've been watching recently. Always nice to see anime about people striving hard for their dreams. Oh, and there are so many good songs xD |

http://myanimelist.net/anime/4151/Blade_of_the_Immortal Not exactly bad, but to openly violent and predictable to me. Dont regret watching it, though. Worships Asparagus. |

@Squadmemberritsu Just don't get your hopes up for Nisemonogatari. Its full of fan service, not much plot. Anyways I've just completed Fate Zero, it was an amazing adaptation of the game. Well animated, great soundtrack, what more could I ask for? One thing I regret though, I should have watched fate zero before completing fate stay/night. I forgot most of the stuff that happened in Fate/stay night. |

Ano Hana. It wasn't as emotionally moving as Clannad, but still a good watch none-the-less. I do prefer Menma over Nagisa though. ![]() |

I just finished Madoka Magica and I heard it has a mindf*ck ending similar to Evangelion but I was disappointed. It was a ok show for a anime about magical girls I guess, pretty dark.I liked the opening and the animation but the story, all the twists,I've seen that before,so I was kinda bored ![]() |

Ao no exorcist. it was truly a treat to watch. It was a serious art style mixed with some chibi moments. Its story was amazing (it wasn't original or anything but the way they presented it was great) The characters grew bigger and better through out the episodes. The only let down was the ending it didn't quiet sum up all my questions, and it made me drowning in the sorrow of lost characters. (WHERE DID BON GO!!! SHIMA??? PLEASE COME BACK!!!!)but all in all it was a dark twisted fate on the underworld and how we see religion. SUPER FUNNY at moments. It kept making me watching more and more i just couldn't stop :) Life is to short for so much Sorrow Rin Okumura and Ryuji Suguro <3 for ever |

Haruhi (the first one) The series was certainly entertaining, especially the first 6 (chronologically), but I feel like the rest of it could have been better. ![]() My List |

I don't usually ever marathon series because I think it might ruin them... But last night I regrettably marathonned 11/12 eps of School Days to finish it. Torturous, easily the worst quality anime I've ever completed or even watched at all. Never going to force myself to watch something 'for the ending' ever again, because like with Clannad, if I'm not attached to the characters at least a little, I'm not going to give a shit what happens to them... Also the art style was nearly intolerable. Especially for the type of show it was supposed to be. Also I don't understand in series like this, they only ever go half way most of the type with nudity. If you're going to show pants shots all the time, and breasts with no nipples/hardly showing, why not go all the way? Signature removed. Just finished Mirai Nikki. It was meh. Was trying too hard to be ~deep and psychological~ and ended up being a trainwreck. |

Necro-sama said: @Squadmemberritsu Just don't get your hopes up for Nisemonogatari. Its full of fan service, not much plot. Thanks for the advice but I liked the show because it was creative. I couldn't understand a goddamn thing plot wise so I don't really mind if the plot is gone. Actually, if there's less plot that's probably a plus for me. I just really liked the scenes where Araragi and Senjougahara were talking. If I watched it for the plot I would have walked out severely disappointed. I watched it for the comedy and the art. If Nisemonogatari can do that right then I'll probably enjoy it even if it is packed with fanservice. Bakemonogatari wasn't exactly clean anyway. |

The first season of Clannad. Pretty decent. The only thing you can rely on is that you can't rely on anything. |

Madoka Magika very good. I saw quickly that this was made by the one who wrote Fate/zero, even though it isn't as dark. However, I found the art (and this is rare of me) not suited for the story, it got "too" childish. If it had art like FMA, F/Z, HxH or whatever, I guess it would've been a 10 in my book, but it got a 9. Definitively a must watch though for fans of thriller. |

Finished Kaze no Stigma It was alright then got shitty and when it seemed like it was going to get good, it ended on a shitty note. Seems like it could've continued, but I don't see it happening so it was a huge meh. ![]() |
