Does anyone else have that one voice they always recognize! I know for me its GREG AYRES! He is in so many English dubs! Me and my friends actually have an on going "contest" per say to find his voice in an anime!

I can spot by ear pretty much every Funimation VA that has been in more than 3 dubs and it's not a good thing.

For me it is Johnny Yong Bosch.
I actually cannot stand him because, in my opinion, he is in so many things and his voice is so distinctive.

Although I agree with Anime_Name, you can tell most from Funimation apart quickly.

Just like Anime_Name said, Todd Haberkorn, Eric Vale, and that other guy part of the famous Funimation Trio are sooo recognizable. If i get a DVD from Funimation, it's like Find Waldo while watching. Even when it's a minor character, i can recognize them pretty easily.

Also, his name escapes me at the moment but Lelouch's English VA is very recognizable to me. While watching Le Portrait De Petite Cossette, Eiri's voice kept nagging at me. I realized why when i looked at the credits and found he was Lelouche's VA.
Same thing happened when i heard Koizuma in Haruhi, Izaya from Durarara!!, and Ichigo from Bleach.
It happens every time i hear his voice.
"Is that who i think it is?" Sure enough, it is.

And although i haven't seen that many with him in it, Light's English VA is recognizable for me as well. The instant i heard Setsuna in Gundam 00 i was like: "Light?!"

EDIT: Vic Mignogna was who i was thinking about.

I have a pretty good memory for a good amount of voices.Remember more English voices than Japanese voices because.....well you know...language barrier :D.
I could make a list,but I doubt anyone cares.

Space Brothers - The best anime of 2012 & possibly the best slice-of-life anime I've seen.It may have some flaws (which doesn't affect my opinion),but I have yet to see anyone hate this series.

I agree with what others have said about Funimation. I rarely watch English dubs and I can still recognize them immediately. Same with Johnny Yong Bosch and Yuri Lowenthal, along with some others that are in everything ever.

I don't watch dubbed (why should I?) but there's like three dozen japanese VAs that I immediately recognize as soon as they say a word.

I think Hikaru Midorikawa is the only VA I have ever recognized. Maybe at some point Horie Yui.
None for english or german dubs.

You can pick out Greg Ayres in a stadium of 250,000.

I have just about all of Funi's cast down pat, plus Crispin Freeman (but who DOESN'T recognize him?)

As far as Japanese goes, I have a hard time remembering names but I can tell when two characters sound alike.

"Twisting islands of concrete and yaks keep the negative space alive."
"Bestiality meat fucking."

Nakai Kazuya, Hirano Aya, Rie Kugimiya are some of the VAs I could recognize just by hearing their voice.

I can recognize a lot of them, but these seiyuu have extremely distinct voices:

Nakamura Yuuichi
Hirano Aya
Miyano Mamoru
Sawashiro Miyuki
Hanazawa Kana
Kamiya Hiroshi
Noto Mamiko
Kugimiya Rie
Paku Romi

Liam O'Brien. Everytime I watch something, and that soft, seductive voice comes from someone, I'm just like "yup, that's him".
