The way Mawaru Penguindrum ended, I cannot imagine Penguinbear being a sequel. Though, a spin-off is very likely. The line on the site reads, ”Find it out without mingling with the transparent storm,” hinting towards one. I hope Penguinbear contains the same aspects that made Penguindrum so great. Mainly with its portrayal of fate, originality, and obviously the fucking penguins!!!  |

I'm referring to him trying to get the ending "fixed" while the most logical thing would be (whether you enjoyed or not Penguindrum's ending) either a spin off or a totally new story. There's no such thing as "fixing" shows, only bad cheap directors would do that. |

Mine too. Penguindrum was awesome at the start, then in the middle it kinda went downhill but I liked the atmosphere and Ikuhara's style is definitely my cup of tea. So count me in! |
