Which for a second pissed me off, but then i remembered that miost people i know think that cartoons are either supposed to be funny, or for kids, or immature and childish...then i kinda got pissed off some more and said. "Oh, right I forgot, you think cartoons are 'for kids'". Hopefully one day the majoity of people in america won't think of cartoons as strictly humorous, immature or for kids. I really doubt the majority thinks cartoons are only for kids.. ya' know, with mainstream western "cartoons" such as south park and the Simpsons. |

Duh Everybody knows anime is for kids of course I let my 4 year old cousin read Berserk with me all the time he loves the way Guts splatters his enemy's entrails & blood all over place and he especially loved the way Griffith raped Casca right in front of him. Hell he cant even go to bed unless the sees Guts slice somebody in half. While we are at it lets sign an online petition to air Hellsing on nick jr. next to Dora the kids will love that.  |

Shit like Elfen Lied isn't actually mature though, such bad seinen are horrible exemples to show anime for older demographics If you research a bit you'll see that japanese animation has something for anyone of any age/gender, though people not knowing about it won't realize that animation in japan isn't mainly for children |

I guess you could show them Panty & Stocking dub too. Something every American would understand(I hope). It would show how adult it is also. It would seem like something they would enjoy.  |
