Ooh! That cliffhanger! Natori actually witnesses a youkai referring to Natsume as the 'famous Natsume who holds the Book of Friends'! I wonder how Natori will react to this, and if Natsume will share this secret. I love Natori with a passion, and to answer Natsume's question, I'm actually sure he'd react to the Yuujinchou the way Taki did - or close to it, anyway. As an exorcist, he'll probably realise what potential that book holds, but at this point, he'd be more concerned about protecting Natsume from other exorcists' and malicious youkai. Either way, I'm so excited to have Natori back!

And as always, Nyanko-Sensei making fun of and bickering with Natori and his shiki was beyond adorable.

I knew the day will come when Natori will hear about "the book of friends" and the fact will either strengthen his bond with Natusme or destroy it.

Totally caught off guard by the housekeeper actually being a youkai. Definitely didn't see that one coming! Can't wait to find out why she's there.

Poor Natsume... Now Natori knows his secret. Natori doesn't strike me as the kind of person who would turn his back on or turn against Natsume over something like this. I hope I'm right.

As much as I would like to believe that Natori, as Natsume's friend, would accept the fact that Natsume is harbouring the names of the youkai, it kinda scares me to think that he may try to take the book and exorcise all the youkai to "take the burden" off Natsume's shoulders. :( gaaaahhh!!!! And I always get jealous when I make discussion here, and this chapter was actually out like..months ago!! i feel so outdated.. OTL

Which group's scanlations are you guys following? As far as I know the only English release of the chapter was by Transcendence at the end of March this year, how did you get hold of it so early?

well that last few pages gave me the impression that he thinks its his duty to protect him. when in fact he is probably the most powerful exorcist out there.

if binding a youkai by name is that hard, releasing its name would be just as hard and hes been doing that for quite some time now.

Somehow I believe it will be destroyed so soon..
I never felt comfortable about Natori since the beginning, but that's just my opinion.

You're not alone on that one. I find Natori to be the kind of guy that would hold an opinion that the end justifies the mean. I wouldn't be surprised if he tried to take the book, destroy it, or fight Natsume for it, or even try to use it for himself.
