Yanderes are indeed interesting characters, but they sometimes - well, rather always - give me the creeps and their insanity is pretty disturbing. Especially the devotion and willing to kill anybody for the sake of their loved ones scares me. By the way, I'd like to see a yandere male character... wiki says that example of this is Rolo Lamperouge. Well, I don't know. The only thing you can rely on is that you can't rely on anything. |

They are pretty entertaining, but I wouldn't think of yandere's as the "best kind of characters". They scare me, sometimes. I know others have already said something like this, but I also do prefer tsundere's. I find them utterly adorable.  |

Honestly i've never met anyone who acted liked a tsundere I wish I did though :/ Also, Yandere are true lovers everyone should have one!  |

I'll always prefer tsunderes to yanderes. Yanderes are definitely not the best type of character and are, to me, the one of the most irritating type of characters in anime. I'm just grateful that they're so infrequent. They don't even scare or disturb me, the just annoy me. Ghostony said: Just did a quick skim.. Guys who fantasized of having yandere girlfriend are just as bad as girls on manipulative bastard rapists as boyfriends. Who wants to date with a girl who rather cut off your head than kissing you? I'm a fan of the stereotype (at least more than tsundere or kuudere), but "best kind of character"? Come on, really? Much as I love psychopaths, a ton of them are undeveloped and gimmicky nonsense. How about a girl whose entire personality doesn't revolve around self-insert-kun? |

I think Yandere are a bit annoying (a recent example is Yuno Gasai of Mirai Nikki)and, in general, i prefer "not too extreme" tsundere even if this kind of character is in a lot of anime. |

I love male yanderes females are ok too, but males are cuter imo....well excluding a couple. Rolo, Vincent, Gilbert, Keisuke, Another one from Panodra Hearts These characters are my loves. xD "What has two arms, two legs, and is alive? Not your favorite character thats for sure!" |

the first time I think I experiance such a character was in Shuffle! Nice sweet young lady that takes care of the MC and turns and does a complete 180 .... Kaede Fuyou is her name and I still remember having to back up a few times and see what I missed and why she turned and did the 180. Still creeps me out sometimes when I re watch the series.  |
