| Hey everyone, my name is J. I've been watching anime for about the past 6-7 years and although I don't really consider myself a veteran to the anime scene, I've managed to build up a nice collection and started to recognise some of the great directors out there over the past year or two. I currently live in England and waiting on my VISA to emigrate to Canada and live with my wife (who is Canadian and living there right now). My first anime my friends introduced me too was Fullmetal Alchemist, which is still an old time favourite of mine to this day. Animes I currently own that are at the top of my favourites are the likes of Elfen Lied, Cowboy Bebop, Hellsing and Lain (although Lain took me a little while to get into). I enjoy animes like Bleach, Clannad and Highschool of the Dead, but I do prefer the ones with darker humor and dark tone to the story/setting etc. Any animes like Black Lagoon, Kara no Kyoukai and Ghost In The Shell are the ones I tend to lean towards. So any recommendations are greatly appreciated! This site has been a huge help since stumbling upon it recently and I look forward to getting to know some of you! All the best, J. |
