Yasako's one force to be reckoned with now. I wonder what happened to her brother. Also I wonder if the little boy Yasako remembers really is Haraken. Haraken is like a man possessed concerning Kanna. I hope he gets the answers he's been looking for.

I like the concept of walking a certain route to unlock a secret message. Denno Coil's depiction of the cyber world interacting with the real world is really cool, if a little mindboggling at times.

Cihan, I agree. Hopefully a better understanding of the whole interaction between the two comes out as this series develops towards its conclusion.

Isako seems pretty dangerous now. But at least Daichi's not a part of her group anymore... Maybe this means he and Denpa can team up with Fumie, Yasako, and Haraken. Add Fumie's little brother and you'd have an awesome hacker squad (because of Akira's little spying mouse thing).

I hope Haraken get eventually get over Kanna's death. He seems obsessed with it, and the mystery surrounding her, to an unhealthy extent. D: (But I suppose it's to be expected...)

Fumie's brother's spy pet has been spying on Isako this entire episode. I wonder whats his motive, maybe to leak information to her older sister.

The flashback is cute. I'm guessing that the 4423 person Yasako met could be Isako's brother maybe?

bittersweet flashbacks o.o

it was from the previous episode, but i found interesting how the ghost stories(the one about the crossroad+pet) about michiko resemble what happened to kanna :/

yep the spy pet and its owner are suspicious, i'm opting for fummie's brother is acting under order of the last 2 from the hacking club which are still with isako, and which don't trust her

"Another one"?! That means Isako has fused with several other Kirabugs already.
And Isako was talking about her brother to herself, so I assume her brother is also dead. So that's how she's connected to the 4423 and dead sibling stuff.

Okay, so Isako has been talking to her uncle on the phone this whole time im guessing.

WAT who was that guy with the camera? Somehow connected to Kanna, as he knows the "route" too?

I'm sensing a slight change of pace from this episode, it gets a little more mature the way I see it.

So Isako has a brother, Kanna had found something, and 4423 shows up again...yeah I really have forgotten how this show goes.

Ok,this episode finally gave some obvious hints about Isakos objective.

I also thought about it, but the only thing they could do is remove the glasses one day, the next day all the data of their glasses would be filtered, even the nudes ...

The question isn't "What anime do you like?" That is merely a list.
The question is "Why do you like it?" That tells a story. Your story.

I wonder what is going on with Isako. She clearly seems to be evil and the antagonist in this anime. After absorbing that white thing, she just disappeared in the fog. How is that even possible? But to be honest, I still don't get why the children start to show these cyber artifact things when they get shot.

I have to give it that, it leaves you in suspense about what the greater picture is. So many unanswered questions so far. For a Mystery anime, that is quiet good.

I just realized that the card indicating a commercial break is a picture of the butt of Fumie's weird pet. Was it always like that? :D

The end (the picture the photographer took) looked like a reference to Serial Experiments Lain, the position of the characters standing and the flock of jackdaws flying.

I'm still a bit confused about how the cyber world works since sometimes the characters behave as if their real bodies have been hurt by cyber attacks. My interpretation is that the glasses don't merely read the movements of the real body and apply them to cyber objects, but that there is a virtual body which is used to interact with pets and other objects. And that is overlaid with your actual body, which is how we saw the virtual one out of sync with Harakawa's real body. That cyber body can be damaged by attacks, which would then prevent you from interacting with things or functioning in the cyber world.

Another really good episode and I continue to admire the way the show integrates the cyber world aspects with the real world to decipher messages along the way, and this episode also finally started to make some progress in slowly elaborating some details regarding Isako's motives and even a bit of Yasako's past and how she was linked to 4423, along with how Kanna felt about Haraken and how that's motivated him even more to search for the truth (although his mind definitely won't be in a healthy state of mind).

Huh, I guess I understand Isako's motives a little more after this. Apparently she has an older brother too and her hospitalized uncle might get involved

Look at them, trying to humanize Yuko. I can't imagine anything happening that would make me like her or even sympathize with her. I feel like she's too far gone for me to really care about.

I'm tepidly leaning towards 4423 being Harakawa, mostly because when the flashback ended and the scene transitioned to the present the silhouettes for the two characters were lined up and seemed to be a decent match. That sort of cinematography was most certainly done on purpose. Though, someone in this thread mentioned it possibly being Yuko's brother. So, that's an interesting theory too.

If nothing else, this episode seemed like it went by much faster than the previous ones. Things are picking up, even if only a little.
