THIS IS A MANGA ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS CHAPTER. ---------------------------------------- Hachiken ended up in 4th place out of 26 in the regional competition. Not bad for his first try in a formal competition, but he still has a long way to go. I think that Hachiken's brother can still get the picture back even if his phone was snapped in half, since it's saved into the card inside. He should definitely print it off and stick it everywhere in the school! Did anyone else think that it was slightly weird for Hachiken to be frustrated about being fourth? It seemed a little out of place for him? |

I think it's not really weird to get frustrated about 4th place, it's psychological moment - you've got more frustrated being place 4th, than being placed 10th or even last, just because you were just one step from the win, and especially in Hachiken's case where he clearly had a close chance to get placed 3rd but lost it just in the last moment. If you're not like 100% psychologically stable these things are going to happen to you. This was my favourite moment from this chapter :D "I was 22, alone, with nothing to do and I couldn't sleep..." |

He went to that school because he doens't know what to do. This frustration is a sign that he's starting to fight for his own desire. |
