I realized after watching more and more anime my attachment to characters began to dwindle more and more, so i guess thats the only advice i have...watch more anime.

And to your mirai nikki question i have no clue lol.

I think after you've seen enough anime they just become more and, more predictable about characters and, personalities. I think it comes from watching to much anime xD

Who is that in your avatar?

The current avatar I have is a custom art Called "Unit of the Garden" just google it and, it will show up :)

Once I got out of Jr.high I stopped caring. Frankly I'm more glad they don't go on forever now. I'd rather them be short and sweet than drag on and it be plagued by shitty fillers.

I feel that way too.
Like in middle school I was really obsessed with death note. I rewatched it like 4 times.
But also like Shuhan said, the more anime I watched the less attached I'd get. So whenever I finish an anime, instead of being sad its over, I'm excited to start a new one.

I find I get attached to anime myself. For one reason or another. With Azumanga Daioh it's the sheer happiness it brought me during a bleak part of my life. With Monster, it's the way it helped me to develop myself in how I can perceive what is reality and what isn't. They teach you lessons in a non-conventional way that makes you feel stronger about what you learned to possess.
We impose order on the chaos of organic evolution. You exist, because we allow it. And you will end, because we demand it.

It's hard not to get attached to good animes that fit your likings!Every time I get attached and the anime ends I start imagining a sequel and deny the fact that it's ended or pray for another GOOD season!

Well when your watching the anime you like, then no. When the anime you like ends, then yes.

When I was like 8, or 7 I remember when the Dragon Ball series ended. I cried. Took me so long to just get over my child hood series ending.

I get attached to the characters A LOT. So I've rewatched quite the few anime... Some I've rewatched twice, some eight times.. ya know the drill.

Little bit foul for kids to be reading about story set in World War II. Kids would have nightmares.
