Not that bad as a episode.
But in same time, the preview seem ... good. :D

Souma VS Sonia - Who will win?

Souma would have lost and also be defeated really badly (and even die) if he kept up with the rage.

aww yeah we get siriyu and hyoga next week all in the same episode on a minor wealso get so see shun li i think? i forgot her name its been too long, now if nly i cn see ikki kick some ass this show will finally be getting good in my opinion.

I think this was a good ep. Manly, battle, fire all over the place, and oh wow at Souma's rage faces!

But really Sonia, you act like you're on top (AND you have a throne!) and you let Soma beat ya?

Other than that, I was fine ;) He wouldn't be able to destroy the ruins then huh?

First with the good..This episode, I liked it, it had everything, cute Aria blushes, comedy(seeing Kouga be treated like a butt monkey is pretty funny :P), nice Souma development, a decent fight. This episode (and the previous one) also recieved a rating of 2.3% which is slightly above average for an anime in the early Sunday morning time-slot.

And now on with the bad.. One thing that annoys me is how this series can't seem to focus on many saints at once. Since Ryuho is coming back next episode they just had to make Souma leave. And his reason for leaving... Doesn't make sense when it's guaranteed that Sonia will attack them again because she wants Aria or because she needs to protect the Cosmo ruins. Unless he does miraculously find her without any hints and clues regarding her whereabouts (which he probably will... he is a main character after all), I won't see the the point of it. I just uggh :/... I like Souma.. Ryuho better be worth it.. >.>

Phew, finally an episode, that was kinda good again.
The battle was nice. Not the typical "dramatical comeback then one-hit KO"-stupidity.

But I really got to hate this friggin transformation scenes. They show them every single time.
Not that I liked them to begin with, but it would be fair enough, if they would show them just every now and then.
But this episode again, is was total nonsense. Showing Souma's transformation was fine, because he had his big fight and all.
But WHY also showing Kouga's and Yuna's? That's just a waste of time and annoying. Gawd. <.<

oh and the Lava looked kinda weird btw. Not really criticism. Just caught my eye.

It seems to get better. I kinda disliked Souma before but now he's ok to me - Ryuuho is better still so I'm looking forward to next week.

i liked the fight, though the lava looked kinda weird... starting to get tired of the transformations, i mean Lost Canvas rarely used them an each transformation looked different

judging from those episode summaries this will be more than 26 episode series, i guess it will be a 50+ episode series

Not a bad episode though I still felt that they should have had sonya beat souma up bad since she's a recurring character. I will give her credit for trying to make him destroy himself and it was his element after all so I guess that makes sense. I'm sure they'll fight again but this was a good fight and ep none the less.
