Something about this episode was a bit off. The manga… had WAY more emotion in it. And actually, I don't think Aomine was portrayed correctly. In the manga he wasn't quite so much of an asshole. It was just not quite as emotional as the manga was and that kinda saddens me because I love this series so much. It was a great episode in itself. I was really upset that they didn't have "Your basketball works best with me" in this episode. Like, VERY upset. That quote is one of my favorites of Aomine and I'm really sad that they didn't have it. This episode didn't hold the same "they know everything about each other" that the manga did. It didn't seem that Aomine and Kuroko really knew each other when they know each other the best. I love the episode, just a little disappointed that one of my favorite matches wasn't portrayed how I thought it would be. But YAY, Teppei! |

Great episode, they really didn't stand a chance. Teppei next episode! I feel like I'm going to like him, he looks like an interesting character. All the evils in the world? Bring at least three times as much if you wish to spoil me! - Gilgamesh ![]() |

Man, Aomine put the hurt on them. So glad that Seirin lost, and lost well. Series definitely needed it. Hope someone stomps Aomine's streetball before the season ends. Kagami on the bench though, couldn't stop myself from laughing when they said "he's radiating rage". Didn't really like the montage thing at the end but at least it wrapped up the game, looks like they find the big fella from the OP theme next episode. Looking forward to it. |

I get what you're saying. I also felt way more despair from this match in the manga. I think what ruined it was the ending clips with the opening song playing along with them. It was more kind of lol because that song is too hype for an emotional moment like that loss. Should have had a nice, sad instrumental piece playing instead. Whoever was in charge of that montage and OP song combo just please...no. |

It's a beautiful piece and it would have worked a lot better for the emotion. |

If only they would have fans giving some advice now and then. They wouldn't even need to be paid, fans would do it for free if they were asked lol. If 25 episodes is correct it's pretty safe to say not to be expecting much from those two at this rate. Anyway next week is going to be a change of pace so that's cool. |

Yeah, Kiyoshi is an interesting character, would love to see anyway, i'm sorry if this has been posted but i kinda have an idea with regard of which part of the manga the anime would stop at |

A defeat! Well deserved one and also to a character that's good enough to win against Kuroko/Kagami combination. Aomine is now officially on my favorites list, that guy is simply too good to be left out. Also, it seems he respected Kuroko for his basketball but wanted to see him improve more. I really can't wait to see the rematch which is going to happen, sooner or later, Kuroko probably with some "upgrades". Aomine looks like a guy who just wants a challenger, someone he can acknowledge, so I can't really hate him for his arrogance. However, he also doesn't seem like someone who necessarily wants an opponent who can outscore him, just someone who can outplay him, hence his respect for Kuroko. I love this show and everything about it. Can't wait for more and I really hope there's a 2nd season and if what people say about good sales are true it's probably going to happen. Great, this one deserves it. |

This is the first time i rated an episode of kuroko no basket 3/5 because honestly, i don't like this episode. Seirin has been crushed by aomine's team and they're rejoicing while seirin is sad because of their loss T__T And also Aomine mocked kuroko!!!! (NO OFFENSE IT'S JUST MY OPINION!) |

Well, its more realistic that Seirin lost this game as them winning every game would be kind of boring, even though its kind of BS how Aomine has the skills of a superhuman. Time for the squad to train up! |

bonifide said: They have pretty shitty spirits as a team. Every game they get all scared then all of a sudden they do what all shounens do in fights power up except it didnt work this time. LOL Anybody that reads the manga can you send me a pm to let me know if Kurorko learns how to do at least basic dribbles or lay ups? Lol I know thats all im waiting for Kuroko would make the show more interesting if he could score / drive /penetrate or something. Enjoy the show showing someone with a crossover but i feel then Aomine should be either a point guard, shooting guard, or small forward because no matter what a coach wouldn't let a player with handles and a scoring ability play a power foward no matter how tall look at Tyreke evans for Sacremento Kings he is about 6'6 someone said he was a power forward which i find odd since they give the ball from upcourt not to mention his speed...to really use his speed he would need to be one of the three positions i mentioned ![]() |

Obvious outcome, but still good episode. If only Kuroko would have been able to stop one of Aomine's play, it might have awoken him. |

Kuroko's basketball is his invisibility and whanot. If he learned to dribble and shoot that skill will probably not work as well as it does now - since attention is usually placed on who's handling the ball. Unless, of course, he can continue being invisible while dribbling. lol where did the ball go I'd still love to see him more from him, though. I had the feeling they were going to lose, but I was still clinging onto some sort of miracle. (´;ω;`) But a change of pace is fine once in a while. They'll become stronger that way. I wasn't a fan of that montage at the ending, though. There could've been a better way of ending that game. I freaked out when Akashi was mentioned. I know nothing about him but still. and lol he was just mentioned When will he and Murasakibara appear? ( TДT) [insert awesome signature here] |
