At World Cosplay Summit (WSC) 2012, the executive committee has announced an anime project for cosplayers. Taniguchi Goro ("Code Geass: Hangyaku no Lelouch") will direct the anime.

The champion of this year's WCS was Japan team, who cosplayed in Hakuouki's costumes.

It will be a generic OVA most likely like Ai Mai Moe Can Change.

But can it top CosPrayers?
The legal age of consent in Japan is 13, so shota is totally legal in Japan. In some western countries shota might be considered child porn.

lets see how many plotholes he can fit into this one show
"Being a fan of something is like having a penis.
It's normal to have one and it's nice to be proud of it. But for the love of god, don't pull it out in public and don't wave it in other's faces."

He also did Planetes and Infinite Ryvius, so I just hope he uses those skills and doesn't dig too deep in his plothole-pocket.
Hoping for some decent slice-of-life with no connection to Code Geass.

Code Geass would be Rock-Paper-Scissors in this analogy.

YAY FOR HAKUOUKI!

As for the anime, let's see how it goes.

I actually like Code Geass, in spite of its real and/or merely perceived flaws (often unnecessarily exaggerated by the harshest critics), but that has nothing to do with this new anime.

We don't know the premise nor anything else at all, which makes such an announcement ultimately meaningless. I suppose it's a good bit of trivia, but I'm not automatically interested until more details are presented.

I'm going to go ahead and assume short one-shot OVA as well. I doubt this turns into a TV series, given that it's being done at the request of a convention, basically.
